Regis Pierre Paul is sitting with Issac Cohen inside the cage for tomorrow’s event. Both men are seen chatting before getting the Que that the camera is rolling.
ISAAC COHEN: “I’m sitting here with 9th World’s Regis Pierre Paul. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to have me.
RPP nods.
RPP: “That’s what’s up my guy, nah, thanks for having me man. You be a busy guy.”
ISAAC COHEN: “So far in your UGP tenure things have already been up and down. From a lost to Maddox moon and barely beating Ray Rodgers. For someone who had a little hype coming into UGP what has been the reason after these performances?”
RPP: “Shit way I see it the better dude just won. Except for the Maddox fight. The people knows I beat dude and so does he. I ain’t dwell on it though, I just had to move on. With the Ray fight, I could’ve did a little more, but I was a bit hesitant. I ain’t doing that no more. I need to prove that I really belong and taking Jethro’s head off is gonna prove that.”
ISAAC COHEN: “Some would say this a throwaway fight for you, a walk in the park sorta say. What do you think about that?”
RPP shrugs his shoulders.
RPP: “Aye man say man I’m just a fighter. I got offered a fight and I accepted it. I don’t see it as a walk in the park. We trained fighters out here, shit can get dangerous, so I’mma protect myself and make sure I do a lot of damage. A first round KO would be cool though. Seem like everyone at the Wrld getting KO’s and bonuses but me. I gotta do better brolo.”
ISAAC COHEN: “Where does a win over Jethro put you in the standings do you believe?”
RPP: “I’ll be on two fight win streak so that’s a little motion, but honestly I don’t know and I really don’t get into all that right now. I’m just trying to fight and improve everyday until I hit that level where I feel like I’m unbeatable. The rankings are just there to be there if you ask me.”
ISAAC COHEN: “One last thing, any fights you want after the Jethro fight?”
RPP: “Nah, I haven’t really been looking at it like that. I’m still trying to make a name for myself. I feel like I gotta do a lil bit more before I start calling out folk. Just hit me up to fight. I’m solid with that.”
ISAAC COHEN: “We’ll thanks for giving me a little of your time. Good luck out there at UGP forty four.
With that the fellas share an handshake and the cameras fade out.
