Endo showcases his versatility, throwing a variety of kicks and punches, keeping Reid on her toes. However, Reid’s resilience is evident as she absorbs the blows, countering with precise strikes of her own. Despite Endo’s agility and stamina, Reid’s reach advantage becomes apparent as she lands jabs and crosses from the outside, keeping Endo at bay. As the round progresses, the pace remains at a redline pace, both fighters refusing to back down. Suddenly, Reid sees an opening and unleashes a barrage of strikes, backing Endo into the fence. With the crowd roaring in excitement, Reid lands a devastating combination, sending Endo crashing to the canvas. The referee rushes in to stop the fight, declaring Reid the winner by knockout.

No doubt he’s here tonight in support of his younger brother, Sasha Volkov, who is coming up next! A lot of talent runs deep in the Volkov genetics. You love to see it!”

BYRON McCALL: “Absolutely, Bodie! Viktor Volkov, a name that resonates with knockout power and perseverance in the world of combat sports. His presence here adds another layer of intensity to the already electrifying atmosphere. The Volkov brothers are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with, and tonight, Sasha has the chance to further solidify the future of their family legacy in the cage. It’s going to be an exciting bout, no doubt about it!”

ROUND ONE: The crowd roars as the cage door closes, signaling the beginning of the Middleweight clash between two big potential prospects in Sasha Volkov and Ari Rosenberg. Volkov, known for his explosive style, wastes no time. He charges forward like a bull, throwing a barrage of strikes at Rosenberg. Rosenberg, staying calm under pressure, attempts to counter, but Volkov’s relentless assault keeps him on the defensive. Volkov blitzes Rosenberg with jabs and hooks, finding his rhythm early on. Rosenberg tries to weather the storm, looking for an opening to counter. However, Volkov’s relentless pressure leaves him little room to breathe. Volkov sees an opportunity and explodes forward with a thunderous uppercut that catches Rosenberg flush on the chin. The crowd gasps as Rosenberg’s eyes roll back, and he crumbles to the canvas. The referee rushes in to stop the fight as Volkov celebrates his second impressive first round knockout victory in the exact same time as his Union GP debut fight. This remarkable performance immediately solidifies his status as a force to be reckoned with in the Middleweight Division.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welcome back, fight fans! Before we return to the action, the camera is capturing the excitement of the crowd and the stars in attendance. With us here in Mexico City is Sky Sakarya, one of the newest additions to the Bantamweight Division. Sky is a member of Prodigy 206, and for sure is here to support her fellow teammate competing in the Main Event later tonight, CC Flynn.”

BYRON McCALL: “Bodie, it’s always a thrill to see rising stars like Sky Sakarya in the house, especially when they’re here to cheer on their teammates. Prodigy 206 has been making waves in the MMA World, and with the support of Sky and the rest of the Prodigy crew, you can bet that CC Flynn will be feeling the energy tonight.”

ROUND ONE: The boisterous crowd comes alive as Michael Harris, the relentless UK wrestler, steps into the octagon opposite the striking sensation, Jalen Briggs. The opening bell rings, and Harris wastes no time closing the distance, shooting in for a takedown. Briggs sprawls, showcasing his defensive prowess, but Harris persists, relentless in his pursuit. Harris manages to secure a single leg takedown, bringing Briggs to the canvas. On the ground, Harris dominates, utilizing his ironclad ground game to control Briggs. However, Briggs displays flashes of brilliance, landing solid strikes whenever they find themselves back on their feet. Despite Harris’s control, Briggs’s striking keeps the round competitive, leaving the judges with a tough decision.

ROUND TWO: Harris opens the round with another takedown attempt, but Briggs seems more prepared this time, showcasing improved sprawls and effectively defending against Harris’ wrestling onslaught. As the fight eventually transitions to the ground, Briggs shows glimpses of vulnerability, struggling to fend off Harris’ relentless pressure. Harris capitalizes on Briggs’ weaknesses, maintaining top control and neutralizing Briggs’ offensive capabilities. Briggs does find success when the fight returns to the feet, landing crisp strikes, but it’s few and far between. Harris’ one-dimensional wrestling approach becomes more evident as the fight drags on, as Briggs starts to anticipate his takedown attempts, keeping the fight standing for longer stretches. Despite Harris’ dominance on the ground, Briggs’ striking keeps him in the game, setting the stage for a thrilling final round.

ROUND THREE: With the fight hanging in the balance, both fighters come out with a sense of urgency. Harris, determined to secure the win with his wrestling prowess, shoots for another takedown. But Briggs has other plans. As Harris dives in, Briggs reads his movements with precision, stepping back and unleashing a devastating head kick that catches Harris flush on the temple. The crowd erupts as Harris crashes to the canvas, stunned by the sudden turn of events. Briggs pounces on his wounded opponent, unleashing a barrage of follow-up punches that force the referee to intervene and wave off the fight. In a stunning upset, Jalen Briggs secures the victory with a spectacular technical knockout from out of nowhere.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And we are back from the break, folks. Before we jump into our next Bantamweight bout of the night, the spotlight is not only on the fighters competing tonight, but also those here as a spectator, like none other than two-time Lightweight Champion, Jordan Parker!”

BYRON McCALL: “Bodie, you can feel the energy ramping up in the arena as soon as Jordan Parker’s name is mentioned. He’s a guy known for his lethal BJJ that has carried him to two World Championships. It’s always a treat to have accomplished fighters like Parker gracing us with their presence, soaking in the atmosphere and perhaps scouting the competition. Who knows, maybe we’ll see him back in the cage sooner than we think!”

ROUND ONE: The crowd roars to life as the opening bell rings, signaling the beginning of this electrifying Bantamweight tilt. Serenity Holmes immediately takes control of the center of the octagon, dictating the pace with her precise strikes. Holmes unleashes a flurry of lightning-fast jabs and devastating leg kicks, finding her mark with surgical precision. Each strike snaps Hunt’s head back, causing her to stagger. Despite the onslaught, Hunt refuses to back down, absorbing punishment while searching for an opening to counter. As the round progresses, Holmes’s dominance becomes increasingly evident. She effortlessly evades Hunt’s telegraphed strikes, slipping past her defenses with grace. A thunderous right hook from Holmes lands flush on Hunt’s brow, opening a nasty gash that immediately begins to trickle blood, impairing her vision. Hunt, undeterred by the crimson curtain obstructing her sight, digs deep, summoning the grit to weather the storm. With her eye nearly swollen shut, she presses forward, refusing to concede defeat. The crowd erupts in awe at her tenacity, cheering her on as she endures the punishment. As the round comes to a close, Hunt stumbles back to her corner, bloodied but unbowed. Holmes struts back to her corner, a confident smirk playing on her lips, knowing she has firmly stamped her authority on the bout.

ROUND TWO: With determination etched on her face, Hunt emerges from her corner, ready to turn the tide. However, before she can mount a comeback, Holmes unleashes a blitzkrieg of offense. With blazing speed, she closes the distance and launches herself into the air, executing a picture-perfect flying knee that connects with devastating force. The impact sends shockwaves through the arena as Hunt crumples to the canvas, unconscious. The referee rushes in to halt the bout, waving it off as medical personnel swarm the octagon to attend to the fallen fighter. Holmes secures the victory in spectacular fashion, cementing her status as a force to be reckoned with, certainly raising the discussion of potentially earning a number next to her name.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen! As we get ready for the Featured Prelim bout, let’s not forget the star-studded crowd. Here with us tonight in Mexico City is the rising Middleweight prospect, Alexander Sokolov. The Russian native has certainly been making a name for himself as of late, ripping off five straight wins in the octagon.”

BYRON McCALL: “Alexander Sokolov’s rapid ascent in the Middleweight Division has been nothing short of impressive. With that remarkable winning streak, he’s undoubtedly caught the attention of fight fans , fellow competitors, and matchmakers alike. His presence here tonight speaks volumes about his dedication to the sport and his eagerness to continue climbing the ranks. Keep an eye on Sokolov, folks, because he’s definitely a force to be reckoned with and could be in line to headline a night like tonight in the not too distant future!”

ROUND ONE: The featured prelim fight ignites with a crackling boom from the crowd as both Syn Saetang and Jake Edwards step into the center of the cage, eyes locked on their opponent like predators sizing up their prey. The opening bell rings, and the fight is underway. Saetang, compact but deadly, tests the waters with her jab, probing Edwards’ defenses. Edwards responds with lightning-fast kicks, showcasing the flexibility and precision of his Taekwondo training. He peppers Saetang’s legs and body with a barrage of strikes, each one sending a statement. However, Saetang remains composed, slipping past his kicks with graceful footwork, biding her time. Saetang’s confidence grows as the round progresses. She starts to find her range, slipping inside Edwards’s strikes with impeccable timing. Her hands become her weapons of choice, darting in with crisp jabs and hooks that snap Edwards’s head back. Despite his flashy kicks, Edwards struggles to keep Saetang at bay, her relentless pressure beginning to wear him down. The round ends with Saetang landing a thunderous leg kick that buckles Edwards’ knee, leaving a lasting visible mark on the opening frame.

ROUND TWO: With the taste of blood in the air, both fighters exit their corners, adrenaline pumping through their veins. Saetang, fueled by the success of the first round, comes out with continued ferocity. She closes the distance, pressing Edwards against the fence with immense pressure. Edwards attempts to create space with his kicks, but Saetang is relentless, cutting off his escape routes with calculated precision. Once in the clinch, Saetang unleashes hellfire. Her knees find their mark with devastating accuracy, slamming into Edwards’ midsection with bone-jarring force. Edwards grimaces in pain, his breaths coming in spasmodic gasps as he struggles to weather the storm. Saetang senses her opponent’s weakness and pours on the pressure, battering Edwards with a barrage of strikes that leave him reeling. Despite his best efforts, Edwards finds himself trapped in Saetang’s web, unable to break free from her vice-like grip. With each passing second, his energy reserves dwindle. The round ends with Saetang standing tall, a fierce glint in her eyes as she stares down her battered opponent.

ROUND THREE: The final round dawns with a sense of inevitability. Saetang, a force of nature unleashed, stalks Edwards with vicious intent. She knows victory is within her grasp, and she intends to seize it. Edwards, battered and bruised, summons the last fragments of his strength like a wounded warrior refusing to go down without a fight. But it’s Saetang who dictates the pace, closing the distance with flawless efficiency. She traps Edwards against the fence once more, her knees finding their mark with surgical precision. Edwards fights back with everything he has left, but it’s not enough to turn the tide. Saetang’s onslaught is unrelenting, each strike driving home the inevitability of her victory. And then, in all of chaos, it happens. Saetang unleashes a final flurry of strikes, capped off by a series of sharp knees that leaves Edwards on the brink of collapse. The referee has seen enough and steps in to wave off the fight. Saetang stands victorious, her arms raised in triumph as the crowd erupts in thunderous applause.

The stream fades in from darkness as the roar of the crowd amplifies. The feed starts with a cinematic aerial view of the Mexico City Arena exterior, bathed in a dazzling array of lights. Suddenly, a high-tech drone camera swoops into view, zipping through the night sky with precision and speed. The crowd below can be seen, eagerly waiting to witness the epic showdown about to unfold.

As the drone camera continues its aerial journey, it dives down toward the entrance of the arena. Here, the stage setting is nothing short of spectacular. The main stage entrance is adorned with towering screens displaying incredible fighter highlights. Pyrotechnics are primed, ready to unleash fiery explosions, and a cascade of dazzling lights dance in rhythm with the heart-pounding music.

The drone continues its flight, capturing the electrifying energy of the crowd below. The fans, dressed in a sea of colors, wave flags and banners, their excitement reaching a fever pitch. The drone camera hovers for a moment, capturing the anticipation, before the arena erupts with pyrotechnics and dazzling lights one final time, setting the tone for the thrilling event about to begin. As the grand finale wraps up, the feed pops up the poster for tonight’s card.

The drone camera, with a graceful turn, moves toward the cageside area, where the commentary team awaits their cue. The camera smoothly pans in to reveal the dynamic duo, Bodie Sullivan and the legendary Hall of Famer, Byron McCall, standing at their cageside booth. Bodie and Byron exchange knowing nods, their excitement evident as they prepare to provide their insightful commentary on the wars about to be waged.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, fight fans around the world, we are live exclusively on the Battleground Network here at the sold out Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico, and the octagon is officially open for business for UGP 57: SUPA vs MORUGA! Hello everyone and thank you for tuning in! I’m Bodie Sullivan alongside the Hall of Fame legend — “The Last Call” Byron McCall, and we’re here to bring you all the action from this monumental night, where the stakes are high and the fighters are primed to test their mettle in front of thousands in attendance and millions watching around the world!”

BYRON McCALL: “It’s an absolute privilege to be here, soaking in the energy in this arena as we prepare to witness some of the most elite athletes on the planet step into the octagon. The prelims have set the stage with some jaw-dropping performances, and now, we’re about to kick it into high gear with a main card lineup that’s guaranteed to set the combat world on fire! We’re not just talking one, not two, but a whopping three Championship fights topping off the bill tonight! These fights have the potential to reshape the entire landscape of their divisions, folks. From the moment that first bell rings to the sound of the final horn, you can bet your bottom dollar that we’re in for a night of pure adrenaline-fueled action!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Absolutely, B-Mac! Let’s start things off talking about our Main Card opener in the Lightweight Division. We have two fighters sitting inside the top five as number three ranked Catherine Harris steps into the cage against number four ranked Dillon Mills. Harris, a former Everest MMA Featherweight Champion, is riding high on a three-fight win streak, and she’s hungry to maintain that momentum. But standing in her way is the highly touted UK prospect, Dillon Mills. After suffering his first professional defeat in his last outing, Mills is determined to bounce back with a vengeance. This is a pivotal moment for both fighters as they vie for a shot at title contention.”

BYRON McCALL: “Let’s break it down, folks. This bout is a true clash of styles, and as we all know, styles make fights. Now, there’s been some chatter, some undeserved chatter, mind you, about Cat Harris being labeled a ‘decision fighter.’ Let me set the record straight. Harris is a complete mixed martial artist, and when she gets to play to her strengths, watch out! Her wrestling prowess is a game-changer, and that’s where she shines. Now, Dillon Mills, on the other hand, he’s a technician on his feet, hence the nickname, but he’s never faced someone with Harris’ grappling pedigree. And you know what? Harris can throw down in the stand-up game too, she’s got that kickboxing finesse, and she might just surprise us by keeping it upright. She’s gotta be strategic about it though, because Mills is itching for redemption after that tough outing against 2Face Rodríguez, where he took a beating before the doctor called it off.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “At the end of the day, don’t underestimate Harris’ ability to adapt, folks. She’s a quick thinker, a master of adjustments, and Mills better not bank on a one-shot finish tonight. Up next, prepare yourselves for a showdown in the Bantamweight Division that’s got everyone buzzing! It’s the long-awaited return of the former Bantamweight Champion and current number one contender, Redd Lennox, as she locks horns with the dynamic Everest MMA SZN 3 Flyweight Champion and number three ranked Bantamweight Contender, Victoria Marshall. Lennox, eager to snap a recent two-fight skid, is back with a vengeance, looking to reclaim her spot at the top of the division. But she’s got her work cut out for her against the relentless Victoria Marshall, who hasn’t tasted defeat in her last ten outings. This is more than just a fight, folks — it’s a statement. The winner here could very well punch their ticket to a title shot in their next fight.”

BYRON McCALL: “You hit the nail on the head, my friend! Even though Redd Lennox hasn’t been very active, her name carries a lot of weight in the division. A win over someone like Victoria Marshall tonight could catapult her straight into title contention. What Lennox was able to accomplish last year throughout the Bantamweight Championship Grand Prix and beyond solidified her as a fringe Hall of Fame fighter. She’s still very young in her career and still has a lot more to give to this sport. But let’s talk about Victoria Marshall, too. Her story is one of resilience, overcoming early setbacks to emerge as the undeniable force she is today. Marshall’s got the tools to trade blows with Lennox, but you can bet she’ll be looking to take this fight to the mat, where she can dominate with her ground game and crush her spirit, if not completely separate her from her senses! Whoever walks away from this fight with their hand raised better be ready to call out the champ because there will be no denying them!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “That’s what it’s all about! Now it’s time to buckle up because we head into the Championship block of the card, and we’re kicking it off with a bang! In our first Co-Main Event, the reigning Lightweight Champion Sadie Williams steps back into the cage, looking to defend her title for a second time against none other than the former Champ and number one contender, 2Face Rodríguez. These two modern day warriors are no strangers to the Championship spotlight. They’ve both experienced the five round wars, and they understand what it takes to grind out a victory when the stakes are at their highest. They bring a wealth of experience to the table. They know what it’s like to dig deep, to push through the adversity, and to seize every opportunity that presents itself. This isn’t just about the gold — it’s about legacy, it’s about proving who’s truly the best 155-pound fighter. Williams is looking to solidify her reign atop the Division, while Rodríguez is hungry to reclaim his throne. You can expect nothing less than an all-out battle as these decorated veterans leave it all in the cage.”

BYRON McCALL: “Once again, the theme of this card continues as this is another clash of styles. Sadie Williams brings a lethal submission game to this fight, whereas Rodríguez will be bringing his brutal striking arsenal. Williams has won her last four fights by submission, so if this fight hits the mat, you can bet that Rodríguez will be in survival mode, defending sub attempts from every angle. On the flip side, Rodríguez, he’s got fists of fury, folks. His striking is downright brutal. Williams will probably be looking to close the distance, drag this fight to the ground where she thrives, but Rodríguez is gonna want to keep her at bay, stick and move, pepper her with strikes from the outside, and shut down those takedown attempts. Rodríguez can do some serious damage inside the clinch, but is he willing to risk it, engage in those close quarters with Williams, knowing she could turn the tables in an instant? It’s gonna be a game of mental chess out there, folks, and one wrong move could spell disaster. And once fatigue starts to creep in, oh man, it’s the great equalizer in this sport. You gotta stay sharp, stay focused, from the first bell to the last, or it could all slip away in the blink of an eye.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Moving right along for our second Co-Main Event, a showdown that promises to be an absolute thriller! Middleweight Champion Derrius Webb squares off against the number two ranked contender, the relentless Koji Murakami. On paper, it’s a classic striker versus grappler match up, but don’t be fooled — Murakami is known for his fearlessness, his eagerness to step into the lion’s den and test himself against the best. We’ve seen it time and time again, Murakami’s willingness to throw caution to the wind, to give the fans what they crave. Sure, he might have come up short against CC Flynn at RFC 4 in the one-night Orochi Grand Prix tournament, but let’s not forget his track record outside of that. Murakami’s not afraid to test himself against the best, even if it means standing toe-to-toe with arguably the most lethal striker in the game.”

BYRON McCALL: “Ah, the enigma that is Koji Murakami. You never quite know what you’re gonna get when he steps into that cage. Sure, he’s got the pedigree of a world-class wrestler, but inside those caged walls, he’s a wild card. Murakami’s all about mind games, folks. Whether it’s a little trash talk, a playful smirk, or just straight-up planting his flag in the center of the cage and throwing hands, he knows how to keep his opponents guessing. And let me tell you, it makes for some damn exciting fights. Now, Derrius Webb, he’s no stranger to the stand-up game. Derrius Webb is licking his chops at the chance to keep this one standing. With that rangy reach and surgical striking precision, Webb’s like a sniper in there, picking his opponents apart with surgical precision. Now, we know this one’s scheduled for a full twenty-five minutes, but mark my words, folks, I’ve got a feeling this ain’t going the distance. There’s something big brewing, something that’s gonna light up the night and steal the show. Keep those eyes peeled, because this might just be the highlight reel moment we’ve all been waiting for!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And finally, it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for — the Main Event of the evening! Bantamweight Champion CC Flynn puts her title on the line against the former Title Challenger and hometown hero, Magdalena Moruga. Now, don’t let the home field advantage fool you, folks. Supa thrives on being the villain, and she’s proven time and time again that she’s at her best when the pressure is on, especially on enemy territory. She’s just built different. But make no mistake, the pressure is on Moruga tonight. With the full support of the crowd behind her, she carries the weight of an entire nation’s hopes on her shoulders. The stakes couldn’t be higher as she vies to become the first Mexican-born Union GP Champion.”

BYRON McCALL: “All I can say is get ready for fistic fireworks, folks, because this one’s gonna be a barnburner! Flynn and Moruga, they’re not just high-volume strikers, they’re downright relentless. And when the leather starts flying, expect some serious phone booth action. I’m talking toe-to-toe, trading bombs like there’s no tomorrow. High volume, high intensity, that’s their MO. You can practically taste the intensity in the air, because mark my words, someone’s gonna be hitting the canvas, mark my words. That’s the beauty of MMA, folks, the unpredictability, the sheer chaos. Anything can happen in the blink of an eye, and tonight? Tonight, we might just witness something truly unforgettable that turns into an instant classic!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And folks, we’ll be here every step of the way, breaking down the action and providing you with the best coverage from bell to bell. So with that, let’s toss it over to our very own hype man himself, the mouthpiece of MMA, Mike Dempsey, who’s on stand by awaiting his cue. Ladies and gentlemen, IT’S BOUT TIME!

ROUND ONE: The opening rounds begins with Harris storming out of her corner, unleashing a barrage of inside leg kicks that immediately put Mills on his back foot. Mills isn’t one to back down, though, and he counters with a crisp punch that catches Harris off guard. As the two dance around the cage, Harris relentlessly pushes Mills toward the fence with her aggressive forward movement. Mills manages to circle away, only to find himself on the receiving end of a push kick from Harris that sends him right back where he started. Undeterred, Mills lands a stiff jab, but Harris fires back with a thunderous right hand that momentarily rocks him. Sensing an opportunity, Harris shoots in for a single leg takedown and expertly spins Mills to the canvas. Mills does not panic, instead he immediately pulls guard, looking for an opening to attack. Harris remains composed, defending against Mills’ submission attempts while landing a series of short punches from the top. Despite Mills’ best efforts to sweep or submit, Harris maintains control from the half-guard position, peppering him with strikes as the round draws to a close. As the horn sounds, Mills walks back to his corner with a cut above his eyebrow, evidence of the punishing exchanges that have already taken place.

ROUND TWO: The second round begins much like the first, with Harris taking the center of the octagon and pressing forward with her relentless aggression. Mills attempts to find his range with kicks, but Harris is too quick, evading his strikes and countering with precision punches. A beautiful right cross from Harris finds its mark on Mills’ chin, staggering him momentarily, but Mills refuses to back down, firing back with a combination of his own before charging forward in an attempt to close the distance. Harris, however, is ready and waiting, landing a sharp counter right that stops Mills in his tracks. Harris catches a leg kick from Mills and expertly takes him down to the canvas once again. From there, Harris maintains top control, landing a barrage of ground and pound while Mills desperately tries to defend himself from his back. Despite Mills’ best efforts to mount offense with elbows from the bottom, Harris remains relentless in her attack, standing up and forcing Mills to scramble to his feet. As the round comes to a close, Mills misses with a wild switch kick, revealing the disorienting punishment he’s endured throughout the round. Harris, meanwhile, bears a cut under her left eye, a by-product to the fierce exchanges that have defined the bout thus far.

ROUND THREE: With the final round underway, both fighters know that the outcome hangs in the balance. Mills wastes no time in launching a ferocious left high kick that catches Harris flush on the temple, momentarily staggering her. Harris runs on instincts, immediately wrapping Mills up in her guard as he pounces, raining down punches and elbows in a vicious assault. Despite the onslaught, Harris manages to weather the storm, slowing the pace of the fight with her guard before staggering back to her feet. With a sizable knot forming where Mills’ kick landed, Harris shows no signs of slowing down as she takes the fight back to her opponent, walking him down with relentless pressure. Sensing an opening, Harris secures a takedown and begins to work from Mills’ half-guard, landing a series of body punches as Mills throws elbows from the bottom. With just under a minute left in the round, Harris opts for another takedown, looking to secure the victory with her dominant top control. Despite Mills’ best efforts to threaten with a kimura, Harris remains composed, finishing the round on top until the final horn.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen from our break for station identification. We are live here at the sold out Mexico City Arena, riding the high off of a gutsy Lightweight Bout that opened the Main Card. The cameras are zooming in on the front row where the biggest names in combat sports are taking it all in. And there’s no bigger name more synonymous with Mexican MMA than the Hall of Fame fighter turned ICSC Executive, Cass Madrigal!”

BYRON McCALL: “Cass Madrigal is a living legend in the world of MMA. From her days dominating the cage to her pivotal role as an executive with the International Combat Sports Council, Madrigal’s influence on the sport knows no bounds. Her presence here tonight is a testament to her passion for this sport and her support for the athletes who continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible inside the octagon. It’s an honor to have her in attendance, reminding us all of the rich history and bright future of mixed martial arts.”

ROUND ONE: The atmosphere rumbles with excitement as the returning Redd Lennox and surging Victoria Marshall square off in the center of the cage for what appears to be a potential title eliminator bout. Lennox unleashes a thunderous left hook that sends shockwaves through the arena, catching Marshall off guard. Marshall immediately answers with a takedown attempt, aiming to ground her opponent. Lennox sprawls back, slipping out of Marshall’s grasp with finesse. Marshall, relentless in her pursuit, transitions seamlessly into a guillotine attempt, seeking to lock in a fight-ending submission. However, Lennox, displaying her resilience, thwarted Marshall’s submission attempt, denying her the chance to secure an early victory. The momentum swung like a pendulum as Lennox retaliated with a devastating right hand, causing Marshall to stagger momentarily. Marshall presses forward, pinning Lennox against the cage in a tight clinch. Short, sharp right hands rain down on Lennox’s head as Marshall unleashes a barrage of strikes, each blow echoing throughout the arena like thunder. Despite the onslaught, Lennox remained composed, shooting a knee up the middle in a desperate bid to create space. The two fighters separate briefly, only to be drawn back into the clinch, where Marshall continues to impose her will. With relentless pressure, Marshall spun Lennox to the ground, landing in a dominant position in half-guard. Lennox scrambled to her feet, only to be met with a relentless assault from Marshall. With her back against the cage, Lennox fought valiantly, weathering the storm of strikes as Marshall unleashed her full arsenal of weapons. Knees to the thigh and punishing right hands found their mark, testing Lennox’s will until the sound of the horn ended the round.

ROUND TWO: As the second round begins, the intensity reaches a new height. Both fighters, bloodied and bruised, lock horns once again. Marshall pressed forward, driving Lennox against the cage with sheer determination. Short hooks, uppercuts, and knees to the body peppered Lennox’s defenses, each strike chipping away at her fighting spirit. Lennox found a glimmer of hope, landing a standing elbow with pinpoint accuracy. But Marshall seized control once more, latching onto a single leg with the tenacity of a pit bull. The relentless clinch battle continued, with neither fighter willing to concede an inch of ground. A thunderous overhand right from Marshall found its mark, dropping Lennox to the canvas. The crowd erupted as Marshall unleashed a barrage of brutal hammer fists, each strike resonating with bone-crunching force. Lennox, battered and bloodied, showed incredible heart, weathering the storm of punishment as Marshall sought to end the fight. In a display of sheer determination, Lennox refused to surrender, miraculously regaining her wits as Marshall attempted to secure a guillotine choke. With sheer grit and determination, Lennox rose to her feet, defying the odds and refusing to surrender as the horn signaled the end of a lopsided round.

ROUND THREE: As the final round dawned, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Lennox, battered and bruised, refused to back down, her warrior spirit shining through despite the adversity. Marshall, smelling blood in the water, wasted no time in pressing the attack, securing a single leg takedown early in the frame. Lennox, trapped against the cage, found herself in the eye of the storm as Marshall unleashed a barrage of right hands, targeting the damaged eye with surgical precision. With each blow, the crowd held its breath, witnessing the heart and determination of both fighters in the heat of battle. Displaying incredible resilience, Lennox fought tooth and nail to escape, utilizing sharp elbows to break free from Marshall’s relentless assault. But Marshall refused to relent, closing the distance once more to engage in a grueling clinch battle. In a last-ditch effort to turn the tide, Lennox attempted a standing guillotine choke, only to find herself unceremoniously dumped to the canvas by Marshall’s brute strength. Dazed and disoriented, Lennox found herself on her knees, her head colliding with the unforgiving canvas in a cruel twist of fate. With uncontested follow-up punches raining down, the referee had no choice but to intervene, waving off the fight and declaring Marshall the victor.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welcome back to the broadcast, ladies and gentlemen. We’ve got a lot of action still to come as we draw nearer to the Championship block of the card, but before we do, we would first like to touch on some massive news that was broken by that man right there in the front row, one of the prominent ICSC Executives, Perry Wallace! He announced yesterday during the media scrum portion of the weigh-ins that Union GP will be rolling out two new divisions later this summer. Two Grand Prix tournaments will usher in the new Welterweight and Featherweight Divisions, certainly an exciting time for MMA fans everywhere.”

BYRON McCALL: “Bodie, you said it! Perry Wallace dropping that bombshell news has sent shockwaves through the MMA community. The introduction of the Welterweight and Featherweight Grand Prix tournaments is a game-changer, opening up new avenues for fighters to showcase their skills and vie for Championship glory. This demonstrates the ever-evolving landscape of mixed martial arts and the commitment of organizations like Union GP to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the sport.”

CALIFORNIA LOVE!

As the iconic “California Love” by Tupac Shakur ft. Dr. Dre starts to bump through the arena’s speakers, the crowd explodes into a frenzy, the energy in the air is undeniable. Every person in the audience is eagerly waiting for the former champion to make his grand entrance. Suddenly, the lights go dim, and all eyes are drawn to the entrance ramp, where a spotlight illuminates the silhouette of a figure emerging from the backstage area. It’s 2Face Rodríguez, and he’s ready for war.

With a sly smirk on his face, 2Face strides towards the cage, his every step accompanied by the deafening cheers from the crowd. Rodríguez looks as focused and confident as ever, and he’s straight vibing in the moment. As he draws closer to the cage, 2Face pauses for a moment, closes his eyes, and takes a deep breath. The electricity in the air is contagious, and he’s soaking it up like a sponge. With the crowd still roaring, he raises his arms in the air, urging them to get even louder. For a moment, time seems to stand still as 2Face revels in the moment. He knows he’s in his element, and nothing can stop him now.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Making the walk now is a fighter who’s looking to make history and enter the exclusive club of becoming a two-time Champion, the one and only 2Face Rodríguez! This man here is not just any fighter, he’s a bonafide phenom in the Lightweight Division. He’s been turning heads left and right with not only his performances inside the octagon, but his mic work has been as memorable as they are scathing. The skill set comparisons to his Head Coach, the legendary Hall of Famer and former simultaneous two-division Champion Delaney Donovan, have been unavoidable, yet Rodríguez has managed to carve his own path.”

BYRON McCALL: “It’s not easy living under the shadow of greatness, but Rodríguez has embraced the challenge with open arms. Let’s talk about what makes Rodríguez truly special. He’s a striking sensation, a lethal Muay Thai kickboxer with hands like sledgehammers. When those fists start flying, you better believe someone’s going down. Four of his seven wins in Union have come by stoppage, and he’s fighting the who’s who at 155 pounds. With wins over the likes of Paige Holloway, Alistair McKay, Abbie Peterson, and Benji Meyers, he’s no fluke! Rodríguez is a force to be reckoned with on the feet, but he’s not without his weaknesses. His grappling and ground game have been suspect, and opponents have capitalized on that vulnerability in the past. However, tonight, he’s out to prove he’s more than just a striker. He’s been putting in the work, honing his skills, and tonight, we might just see a different side of 2Face Rodríguez. It’s all about evolution in this sport, Bodie. And if Rodríguez can shore up his ground game, he’ll be an even bigger threat in the Division. But make no mistake, his opponent tonight won’t make it easy for him.”

Rodríguez strides confidently towards the cageside inspection area, his heart pounding with anticipation. He knows what’s at stake, and he’s ready to give it his all. As he strips away his BST Fightwear warmups, he looks around at his cornermen, their faces a combination of focus and pride. But one figure stands out from the rest: Delaney Donovan, former Middleweight and Lightweight Champion, a Hall of Famer. Donovan gives Rodríguez a firm hug, his eyes conveying a message of respect and admiration. The inspection goes smoothly, and Rodríguez is given the green light.

He takes a deep breath and looks up to the heavens. Then, with a sudden burst of energy, he races up the steps and into the cage. The roar of the crowd is deafening, but Rodríguez is in the zone. He’s focused, he’s determined, and he’s ready to take on anyone who stands in his way. As he settles into his corner, one of his coaches pours some water on the mat, a small gesture that helps him gain a little extra grip. Rodríguez wipes his feet, his eyes fixed on the aisle way, awaiting for his opponent.

DEEP BENEATH THE SURFACE
LURKS A MIGHTY BEAST
A REPTILE OF THE OCEAN
A VIPER UNLEASHED

As the arena buzzes with the promise of a thrilling Championship clash, Union GP Lightweight Champion Sadie Williams, known for her laid-back demeanor and magnetic charm, steps into the spotlight, embodying a mixture of confidence and liveliness. With “Powersnake” by Brothers of Metal echoing through the arena, the crowd erupts in cheers, feeling the raw power of the music coursing through their veins.

Dressed in her BST Fightwear warmups, Sadie exudes a sense of cool composure as she makes her way to the cage. She doesn’t rush, taking the time to connect with the fans, exchanging high-fives and soaking in the electrifying atmosphere. Each juncture ignites a spark, fueling her resolve for the battle ahead.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And now making her way to the octagon is none other than the reigning and defending Union GP Lightweight Champion, “The Serpent” Sadie Williams! You want to talk about a fighter who’s been on an absolute tear? Look no further than Sadie Williams! She hasn’t tasted defeat in her last ten fights, only having that one draw against Masami Rose in that span. Last year was nothing short of phenomenal for her. During her historic 2023 campaign, where she not only captured the Everest MMA SZN 3 Featherweight Championship but also laid claim to the Union GP Lightweight strap as well. And who could forget that lightning-fast submission win over Ray Rogers? Forty-nine seconds, folks—that’s all it took for Williams to etch her name into the history books. That’s unheard of, folks!”

BYRON McCALL: “And let’s talk more about that submission game, Bodie. Sadie Williams is a virtuoso on the mat. Her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is world-class, her submission grappling is second to none, and when she locks in those limbs, it’s game over, folks. Seven wins by submission in Union GP and Everest MMA combined? That’s straight savage! Every move, every transition, it’s all calculated, precise. And that’s what makes her so dangerous. She can end the fight in the blink of an eye, whether she’s hunting for a joint lock or looking to choke her opponent out cold. But tonight, Williams faces a mighty challenge. A hungry apex predator looking to reclaim his former glory with hands of stone. Can Sadie Williams extend her reign, or will the challenger have what it takes to dethrone her? One thing’s for sure, folks — this is going to be one helluva fight!”

As she reaches the cageside area for the routine inspection, Sadie sheds her warmups with a playful flourish, revealing her chiseled physique underneath. After having one final heart-to-heart with her corner, Sadie turns to the official. Without any concerns, Sadie is cleared and given the green light to enter the octagon.

Channeling the primal energy of a slithering predator, Sadie crawls into the cage with a calculated grace, mirroring the stealth and agility of her namesake. It’s a captivating sight, commanding attention and setting the stage for the spectacle to come. In her corner, Sadie’s focus intensifies. With a nod to her opponent and a silent vow to herself, she prepares herself for the challenge that lies ahead.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Co-Main Event of the evening! Sanctioned by the Federacion de Artes Marciales Mixtas Equidad y Juego Limpio, our three judges scoring this contest at cageside are Alejandro Gomez, Diego Herrera, and Lupita Fernandez, and when the action begins, our referee in charge in the octagon is Jordan Ripley. AND NOW, live from the sold out Arena Ciudad de México in Ciudad de México, México, streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network…”

IT’S TIME!

MIKE DEMPSEY: “The following contest is scheduled for five rounds and it is for the Union Grand Prix Lightweight Championship! Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Muay Thai Kickboxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of sixteen wins, two losses. He stands 5’9” tall, and weighing in at 155 pounds. He is from Los Angeles, California, fighting out of Kratos Combat Sports — presenting the former Union Grand Prix Lightweight Champion and the number one ranked Lightweight Contender in the World, 2Face Rodríguez!”

2Face Rodríguez is in the zone, driven by the moment, and he’s feeling the energy piercing his soul. As he strides towards the center of the octagon and plants himself firmly on the signature Union GP star logo in the center of the octagon. With his eyes locked onto the heavens, 2Face takes a deep breath, filling his lungs to capacity. And then, in a sudden burst of raw emotion, he unleashes a deafening war cry that reverberates throughout the entire arena. The fans go berserk, their voices reaching a fever pitch as they feed off the primal energy emanating from this warrior.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu fighter holding a professional mixed martial arts record of sixteen wins, five losses, one draw. She stands 5’9” tall, and weighing in at 152.25 pounds. She is from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, fighting out of Titan MMA in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada — presenting the Everest MMA SZN 3 Featherweight Champion, and THE REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED Union Grand Prix Lightweight Champion of the World, “The Serpent” Sadie Williams!”

Sadie Williams prowls like a caged beast in her corner. With a fierce determination burning in her eyes, she shares intense nods with her cornermen while cracking a sinister, yet playful smile. The crowd roars in a frenzy, their energy fueling her adrenaline as she pumps her fists and acknowledges their support with a steely gaze. In this intoxicating moment, nerves morph into a force of courage, propelling her towards the imminent battle that lies ahead.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “It all comes down to this moment, folks. You can feel the tension in the air as we are set for a possible twenty-five minutes of Championship action!”

The referee strides toward the heart of the cage, commanding the attention of both fighters with an authoritative gesture. Behind him, Mike Dempsey looms, his presence adding weight to the impending clash. Referee Jordan Ripley steps forward, his voice resonating with significance as he delivers a final address to the combatants.

JORDAN RIPLEY: “Alright fighters, we’ve gone through the rules in the back. Protect yourself at all times, follow my instructions, touch gloves now if you wish to and let’s do it.”

The air crackles with suspense. With a swift exchange, they touch gloves and quickly backpedal to their respective corners. As they settle into their stances, Jordan Ripley checks off with each fighter one last time, ensuring they are both ready for the challenge that lies ahead.

The thunderous applause of the crowd echoed through the arena, refusing to fade. Bodie Sullivan, positioned in the heart of the octagon, was enveloped in the electric atmosphere. Suddenly, amidst the chaos, Sadie Williams emerged, adorned with the Lightweight Championship resting proudly on her shoulder. In a swift move, Bodie seized the moment, eager to capture her thoughts amidst the emotional celebration.

BODIE SULLIVAN:Ladies and gentlemen, I’m standing here with the winner AND STILL undisputed Lightweight Champion, Sadie Williams! Sadie, congratulations on a resilient performance and going the distance with a tough former Champion in 2Face Rodríguez. How are you feeling after that grueling contest?”

SADIE WILLIAMS: “Bodie, first off, I gotta give mad respect to 2Face. That man brought everything he had tonight, and he made me work for every inch in here. It was an honor to share the cage with him.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Absolutely, Sadie, it was obvious that both of you left it all out in here tonight. Now, let’s talk about the scores. It was razor-close, but in the end, the judges awarded you the split decision. What are your thoughts on the outcome?”

SADIE WILLIAMS: “You know, you never want to leave it in the hands of the judges, but I believed I did enough to get the nod tonight. My wrestling and ground control were on point, and I felt like I dictated the pace of the fight. This can be a cruel sport, though, and you can never be too sure until you hear those final scores. It was a war, no doubt, but I dug deep and found a way to come out on top.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Well said, Sadie. And now that you’ve defended your title for a second time, what’s next for the Champion? Any challengers you’ve got your eye on?”

SADIE WILLIAMS: “Oh, you better believe it, Bodie. I’m ready to take on all comers. Anyone who thinks they have what it takes to step into this cage and challenge for my belt, they’re more than welcome to try. Even those who think they can just move up and stake a claim to my throne. I’ll be ready for whoever steps up to the plate.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Strong words from the Champ! Thank you for your time, Sadie, enjoy the moment, and congratulations on another hard-earned victory tonight!”

SADIE WILLIAMS: “Thank you, Bodie. And thank you Mexico! Everybody here tonight has been incredible! I loved the energy and the passion, this was an amazing experience.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “There you have it, give it up again for the Champ ladies and gentlemen!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And we’re back, fight fans, with more adrenaline-fueled action inside the octagon! As we gear up for our Middleweight Championship Co-Main Event, our lenses are dialed in on the glamorous crowd soaking in the action, particularly that man right there, the two-time Heavyweight Champion, “Dog Face” Donnie Calabrese. I got the pleasure of speaking with Donnie earlier today and with some very credible and influential sources confirming it, Donnie Calabrese will be making his first title defense in his second reign as champion against Viktor Volkov at UGP 58, making the trilogy fight a reality.”

BYRON McCALL: “Bodie, the anticipation for a trilogy showdown between Donnie Calabrese and Viktor Volkov has been building for months, and now it’s finally coming to fruition. Their first two encounters were nothing short of epic, and I have no doubt that the third installment will be equally as thrilling. UGP 58 is already shaping up to be an event for the ages!”

A DRIFTING TENDER
COME RIDE, HEROES, RIDE
HER GALLEON SEVERED
AWAY WITH THE TIDE
THE STORM HEAD GATHERS
COME RIDE, HEROES, RIDE
ILLUSIONS SCATTERED
AWAY WITH THE TIDE

As the arena lights dim, a hush falls over the crowd. The colossal screens flicker to life. The haunting melody of “A Long Fall” by Masayoshi Soken echoes throughout the arena, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic showdown for the Middleweight Championship. Amidst the sea of rabid spectators, a solitary figure emerges from the darkness, bathed in a singular spotlight. Koji Murakami steps into the limelight, his gaze unwavering, his demeanor radiating confidence and focus. His entrance is deliberate, every step calculated, as if each footstep echoes with the weight of his purpose.

Accompanying Murakami is his entourage, a tight-knit group of teammates and cornermen, their faces etched with determination matching their fellow fighter’s. Adorned in his traditional Japanese attire, Murakami carries himself with the quiet dignity of a warrior, his presence commanding respect from all who behold him. As he strides towards the Octagon, Murakami’s eyes remain fixed ahead, his mind already locked in combat, visualizing the battle that lies ahead. The crowd erupts into cheers and applause, their admiration for the challenger is evident.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “We welcome you all back to the Mexico City Arena and now we are gearing up for our second Championship Co-Main Event fight! Out now, is a man on a mission, the #2 ranked Middleweight contender, Koji Murakami! This is a fighter that embodies determination and drive. With a chance to etch his name in the history books as the second oldest champion in Union GP history, Murakami is hungry, he’s focused, and he’s ready to seize the moment. Murakami’s journey to this Championship opportunity has been the stuff of legends. Despite his seasoned years, he’s shown no signs of slowing down, rattling off an impressive 4-fight win streak and proving that age is just a number in this unforgiving sport.”

BYRON McCALL: “And let’s not forget the caliber of opponents Koji Murakami has faced along the way. He’s got wins over Everest MMA SZN 3 Welterweight Champion Kian De Beer and former Union GP Middleweight Title Challenger José Meléndez. His only loss under the Union GP banner came at the hands of none other than the #1 pound-for-pound fighter, CC Flynn, at RFC 4. That’s no small feat, folks. Murakami has been battle-tested, and tonight, he’s looking to add another prestigious accolade to his resume. But let’s talk more about Murakami’s gutsy move in calling for José Meléndez and then Middleweight Champion Derrius Webb. The power of the call-out is undeniable in this sport, and Murakami’s boldness has earned him this opportunity to contend for the gold tonight. He’s making the most of every opportunity and he’s not backing down from any challenge.”

Murakami reaches the cageside area and must undergo the scrutiny of the officials, a routine inspection to ensure he is fit to compete. After disrobing his BST Fightwear warm ups, he dabs his cornermen one last time. With unwavering composure, he submits to their examination, his muscles coiled like a spring, ready to unleash his full power at a moment’s notice.

Once cleared, Murakami ascends the steps of the octagon with purpose, his eyes blazing with determination as he gazes out into the crowd. With a final nod to his team, he steps through the cage door, the barrier between him and destiny, ready to embrace the chaos of combat and seize his moment of glory. The arena erupts in a deafening roar as Koji Murakami prepares himself, both mentally and physically, for what lies ahead.

As the lyrics of “Superhero (Heroes and Villains)” – Metro Boomin, Future, Chris Brown boom through the loudspeakers, the lights burst forth, illuminating the arena with a blinding radiance. All eyes are locked on the figure emerging from the depths of the backstage area, casting an ethereal glow on his every move. Derrius Webb steps into the spotlight, bathing in the warm embrace of the crowd. The collective roar of the crowd engulfs him, washing away any doubts and fueling the fire within.

With committed eyes fixed solely upon the imposing steel cage positioned at the center of the arena, Derrius showcases a look of unyielding courage etched onto his face. Every muscle in his chiseled frame tenses. Despite the waves of jubilation crashing upon his senses, he remains steadfast.

Derrius marches towards the cage with his entourage of teammates, most notably his trusted head coach Roscoe Robinson, trailing close behind. Their presence, a symbol of camaraderie and unwavering support, stands as a testament to the arduous journey that has led them to this moment.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Listen to this crowd, the energy is absolutely electric for arguably the most dominant fighter today, the reigning Middleweight Champion, Derrius Webb! With an astounding record of 19 wins and just 4 losses, and riding a jaw-dropping12-fight win streak dating back to his days in Everest MMA, this man is the epitome of excellence. He’s a perfect 8-0 since entering the ranks in Union GP, and tonight, he’s looking to make his fourth successful title defense, tying the division record held by legends like Robert Guilliman and Travis Decker. He’s proven time and time again that he’s capable of reaching the pinnacle of the sport.”

BYRON McCALL: “The main reason Derrius Webb has been able to have so much success is because of his dynamic kickboxing game. With his long-range attacks and pinpoint accuracy, he can dismantle opponents with surgical precision while staying untouched. It’s almost like a form of art every time he steps into the octagon. His style has made him a fan favorite the world over. Every time he enters the cage, you can bet the crowd is on their feet, eagerly anticipating the fireworks that are sure to follow. Webb’s legacy hangs in the balance tonight as he looks to cement his status as one of the greatest Middleweights of all time. He faces a hungry challenger looking to dethrone the king with what has been known to cause him problems — wrestling. Three of his four losses have come at the hands of dominant wrestlers who were able to stifle Webb’s stand up game and keep him in neutral. It’s a big question that not a lot of people have been paying much attention to, but will he continue his reign of dominance, or can Koji Murakami pull off the upset of the century? One thing’s for sure, folks—this is a fight you won’t want to miss!”

Reaching the cageside area, a brief pause ensues, allowing Roscoe to meticulously inspect Derrius’ gloves, ensuring every detail is perfect for the impending war. In this fleeting moment, unspoken words pass between them, a silent exchange of camaraderie and unwavering belief. A fist bump seals their bond, a final gesture of solidarity before the inevitable clash.

Turning away, Derrius confronts the cutman for inspection. An air of intensity envelopes the scene as the cutman meticulously inspects the Champion. With a nod of approval, Derrius meets the stringent standards of the competition.

Taking measured strides, Derrius ascends the steps and steps foot inside the octagon, the boundary that separates him from both glory and peril. Even in this defining moment, he remains fluid, throwing punches and kicks into the empty air, his movements a chorus of controlled power. Time ticks away relentlessly, each passing second amplifying the anticipation that hangs heavy in the atmosphere.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Co-Main Event of the evening! Sanctioned by the Federacion de Artes Marciales Mixtas Equidad y Juego Limpio, our three judges scoring this contest at cageside are Alejandro Gomez, Diego Herrera, and Lupita Fernandez, and when the action begins, our referee in charge in the octagon is Lars Levy. AND NOW, live from the sold out Arena Ciudad de México in Ciudad de México, México, streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network…”

IT’S TIME!

MIKE DEMPSEY: “The following contest is scheduled for five rounds and it is for the Union Grand Prix Middleweight Championship! Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Wrestler holding a professional mixed martial arts record of seventeen wins, eight losses. He stands 5’10” tall, and weighing in at 185 pounds. He is from Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, fighting out of the Vicious Weapon Dojo — presenting the number two ranked Middleweight Contender in the World, “Vicious K” Koji Murakami!”

In the dimly lit arena, Koji Murakami’s heart is pounding like a war drum within his chest. The weight of ultimate glory hangs heavy upon his shoulders, a burden he carries with a mixture of apprehension and excitement. With each step in his pacing, the anticipation builds, his senses heightened. The gravity of the moment is not lost on him, but amidst the chaos, a flicker of defiance ignites in his eyes. Despite the stakes, a hint of a smile tugs at the corners of his lips.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Kickboxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of nineteen wins, four losses. He stands 6’4” tall, and weighing in at 184.5 pounds. He is from Brooklyn, New York, fighting out of The Hit Squad — presenting the former three-time Everest MMA Welterweight Champion and THE REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED Union Grand Prix Middleweight Champion of the World, Derrius “Spyda” Webb!”

Fueled by adrenaline, Derrius Webb paces in his corner, a flurry of emotions swirling within him. He begins smacking his face, chest, and legs and with each resounding smack against his flesh, he ignites a primal fire, stoking the flames of readiness for the imminent battle ahead. As each second passes, the image of discipline and preparation becomes more and more evident for the reigning Champion.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Two modern day warriors are now locked in the cage, ready to chase greatness! Who will seize the moment?”

The referee steps to the center of the cage and motions for both fighters to meet. With Mike Dempsey standing behind holding the microphone, referee Lars Levy gives one final pep talk.

LARS LEVY: “Alright gentlemen, we’ve gone through the rules in the back. Protect yourself at all times, follow my instructions, touch gloves and let’s have a good, clean fight.”

Both fighters seem ready to burst with adrenaline. Without much hesitation, they touch gloves and quickly backpedal to their respective corners. As they settle into their stances, Lars Levy checks off with each fighter one last time, ensuring they are both ready for the challenge that lies ahead.

ROUND ONE: This clash of styles begins with plenty of respect and a glove touch from the fighters. Murakami immediately shoots for a takedown, or at least fakes it, and Webb grins it and prepares for it. Webb scores a punch or two, and Murakami closes in on him and grabs him. Webb breaks off from the takedown attempt, and Murakami doggedly pursues another. Webb shucks it off and sticks out a jab, and he scores a low kick and resorts largely to single strikes to be on his guard from the oncoming takedown. Webb stabs the midsection with a front kick, and he hops away as the Japanese native plods towards him for a takedown. Webb blasts a kick to the ribs, and he springs away to connect with a clean right hand. Webb pushes Murakami back and makes him pay for a takedown try with a right hand, and Murakami sneaks out a left hand. Webb strings a few punches together to draw out an exchange from Murakami, and he eats them as they fly back at him. Webb doubles up on body shots, and he springs away from Murakami and tries to latch on to him. Murakami whiffs on two looping punches, and he walks through a jab to pop out one of his own. Murakami walks forward, throwing heavy leather, and he leans over and gets uppercutted on the chin. Murakami pushes him off and a pinky goes into the eye, and the referee recognizes it and halts the action properly. Webb only takes a few seconds before blinking it out and signaling he is ready to continue. Murakami goes low for a single, and Webb’s takedown defense holds up even as Murakami lifts it up to scoop him out. Murakami connects with two calf kicks, and Webb strides forward to drill him in the face with a few straight shots. The nose of Murakami begins to bleed as he absorbs these blows, and he knocks Webb back with a left hand. Webb splits the guard with jabs, marking up the nose further and mixing in a low kick. Murakami scores a left, but Webb fires back right until the round ends.

ROUND TWO: The Middleweights calmly walk out of their corners to bump fists, and Murakami advances and throws body shots. Webb slides back with a fade-away right hand, and Murakami walks right into it. Murakami appears to sting his opponent with a low kick, and Webb throws several back in rapid succession. Webb pushes off with his fingers outstretched, and he pushes a pinky all the way in the eye socket. Murakami takes 30 seconds to recover, and he says “one to one” to signal that they have both absorbed these fouls. When they start off again, Webb flings several head kicks, and even though they hit the guard, Murakami is in trouble. Murakami wobbles, and he leans back to the wall to keep himself upright. Murakami pursues a takedown, and Webb sees it coming a mile away and stuffs it. Murakami gathers his thoughts, hurt and still moving, and he starts blasting Webb with a flurry of punches. One left hand splits open under Webb’s nose, and the punches and kicks of Webb have busted Murakami’s face up badly. Webb knocks his man back with a one-two, and Murakami pushes through to finally land the takedown he had been seeking this whole fight. Webb scrambles, but Murakami climbs over him into full mount. As they continue to move, the blood from their faces start to leak on their bodies, and this makes them slide around as Murakami hunts for a submission. Murakami hunkers down in search of an arm-triangle choke, and he lowers his shoulder to tighten it up. Webb senses it and breaks it up, and Murakami sits up and rails him with ground strikes. Webb sits up against the wall and works his way back up, and he punches Murakami a few times to knock blood on one of the camera lenses. Webb launches a high kick, and he follows it with a straight right hand. Murakami continues to walk him down, and Webb plays matador as Murakami flies past him. The forward movement is not slowing from Murakami, and Webb backs him off briefly with a front kick and jabs. Murakami scores a left hand, Webb fires back, and they connect with heavy shots. A right hand from Webb opens a cut on the side of his left eye, and Webb swings heavy leather right to the horn.

ROUND THREE: The Middleweight gladiators smile and share a moment before bumping fists. Murakami takes a few seconds before closing in, and he races forward in pursuit of a double. Webb stops him from succeeding and pushes Murakami against the cage wall, and he separates to measure him with jabs. Murakami jabs to the body, and he gets a left hand off as he absorbs jabs. Murakami connects with a solid left hook, and Webb’s jab is sharp as he switches stances, from both hands. Webb hurls a head kick up high, and Murakami is in the danger zone. Webb bowls him over and throws hammers at him, and Murakami sits up and tries to go for a single as he appears to be on autopilot. Webb pushes Murakami over to his back, and he winds up on three vicious standing-to-ground punches as the referee is right on top of the action. Webb hovers over the busted up and bloodied Murakami, and he slashes down with an elbow. Murakami launches an upkick to keep Webb honest, and he sits up and goes for a double. Webb tosses him aside like nothing, and he forces Murakami to return to his feet. Webb pushes out a jab, and he stops a tackling takedown and jabs out more. Murakami walks through them all, with his legendary recoverability, and he wipes a bloody eye and connects with a solid right hand. Webb strings a series of punches together, and he punctuates a combination with a head kick as Murakami’s left eye is giving him fits. Murakami runs forward, throwing hands, and Webb turns him around and picks at him with jabs. Webb swings and misses with two hooks, and Murakami gains a head of steam and starts throwing bombs. Webb barely dodges one, and they trade jabs at the same time. Murakami gets the better of an exchange to force Webb to escape, and Webb backs off to time an uppercut. Murakami sneaks a right hand over the top, and he gets cracked with two punches and a knee. Murakami takes it all on the chin, wobbling back, but he makes it to the horn.

ROUND FOUR: Cut up and bloodied, Murakami is cleared to continue despite a nasty gash developed on the top of his right eyebrow. Webb does not target them when the fourth frame opens, instead working the body with front kicks. Murakami slings two heavy punches, and Webb sits back to blast the Japanese native with a head kick. Murakami comes forward, and he eats a clean knee on the chin before grabbing hold of Webb. Webb spins him around and pushes off, and Murakami smacks him in the face with an overhand right. Webb loads up on a head kick, and he follows it with a right hand, swinging about as hard as he possibly can. Murakami incredibly absorbs them all and keeps moving forward, and he even lands a punch of his own when closing the distance. Webb gets off punches up top and kicks to the body, as Murakami walks him down relentlessly. Webb hurts Murakami once more with a head kick, and Murakami leans back against the wall. When Webb comes at him, Murakami knocks him back with two huge punches. Murakami wipes his eyes, as blood leaks in both, and he still manages to be the one coming forward to attack. Murakami gets a left hand over the top and tries to follow it with a right when Webb retreats, and Webb counters him with a combination. Murakami’s legs wobble as he backs off to the wall, and Murakami absorbs them and looks for counters. Webb counters with a left, and Murakami cracks him with a right hand on the inside. Murakami’s blood sprays as he continues to take punishment, and Webb pours it on with everything he has. Punches and knees land with impunity, but Murakami is throwing back and still on his feet. Murakami pushes his way out and stays active enough to stave off a stoppage, and he goes to the body and walks right into a knee. Webb blasts him with three more punches and an uppercut, and the horn blares. Doctors could very well call this fight. The referee brings in the doctor to check on Murakami’s vision, and incredibly, we have reached the fifth round.

ROUND FIVE: Murakami calls out “let’s go, baby!” when the last round begins, and they hug to start things off. Webb switches stances and jabs until unloading with a right hand, and Murakami rolls with it. Murakami leaps forward in pursuit of a single, and a second effort in the form of a body lock and trip allows Murakami to land on top in half guard. Webb looks for a sweep when off his back, and the savvy veteran uses his body weight to remain pressed to his opponent. Murakami moves to side control, and Webb looks for another escape but cannot get there. Murakami elbows him on the side of the head as he slides back to half guard, he is totally spent but still actively looking to pass. Murakami steps over to full mount as the crowd goes wild, and he gets up a little too high. Webb slides out the back door incredibly and switches the position to put Murakami on his back. In half guard, Webb drops down short elbows, and he sits up to swing when the referee tells him he has to work. Precious seconds are ticking off the clock as Webb holds top position, and he passes over to the side and hangs on with a can opener type of grip, wrenching Murakami’s neck up. Webb connects with elbows until Murakami slides out, and Webb stands up to let him back up. Murakami absorbs a one-two, and Webb dashes to the side when Murakami lumbers toward him. Webb kicks high and aims one to the body, and Murakami is throwing everything he has left with haymakers. Webb scores a few jabs, and Murakami motions for them to start brawling. Webb keeps his jab going and retains a risk-averse approach right to the final horn.

As the final horn hits the airwaves, a thunderous roar erupts from the crowd, drowning out all other noise. Weary, the fighters stumble to their corners, leaning on the cage for support, chests heaving with exhaustion. Ringside Physicians cautiously approach, poised to act at any hint of trouble. After some heightened moments pass by, neither fighter exhibits any serious injury. In a tense silence, the doctors conclude their examinations and retreat from the octagon, leaving the combatants to confront each other once more in the center of the cage, where the outcome of their battle awaits its official verdict.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, after five rounds, we go to the judges’ scorecards for a decision. The judges score this contest 50-45, 50-45, and 50-44, declaring the winner by unanimous decision, AAAAAND STIIIIILL the undisputed Union Grand Prix Middleweight Champion of the World, Derrius “Spyda” Webb!”

The crowd erupts into thunderous applause as Derrius Webb emerges victorious. With his hand raised triumphantly, the Middleweight Championship belt is fastened around his waist by the hand of Union GP Founder, Dante Reed. Amidst the roar of the crowd, both fighters share a fleeting embrace, their eyes reflecting a shared journey of grit and perseverance. Then, they part ways, each retreating to their respective corners, while the commentators dissect the bout and statistics of the fight flash across the feed.

Derrius rushes the cage and leaps up, pulling himself to the top where he takes a seat overlooking the electric crowd in attendance this evening. He throws his arms into the air, playing to the crowd with a grin stretched across his face from ear to ear.

A group of fans wearing Hit Squad merch catch his attention, more so the ladies mixed in the group of people. He motions his hands as if pulling up a shirt if he were wearing one, a signal for his fans to show even more support and they obliged, pulling their shirts up and flashing the entire arena. Derrius points to the ladies and their assets playing to the crowd.

He drops back down to the mat and falls into his entourage there to congratulate him. With the Middleweight Championship in hand, Roscoe walks over and the two exchange another fist bump before he places the Championship over Derrius’ shoulder. Derrius clutches it with his arm and slaps his hand over the faceplate four times, one for each defense.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with the winner AND STILL undisputed Middleweight Champion, Derrius Webb! Wow, Derrius, what a performance! And I mean hell, what a celebration there! Take us through what was going through your he—“

DERRIUS WEBB: “That’s number four… número cuatro.”

He holds his arm high into the air and extends four of his fingers before bringing his hand down and slapping the championship belt four more times.

DERRIUS WEBB: “Koji thought he was going to be the one to take this strap off my hands…”

Derrius shakes his head and looks through the bodies between him and Koji on the other side of the cage. Making eye contact with Koji, Derrius holds up his index finger and shakes it back and forth…

DERRIUS WEBB: “No sir!!”

He lowers his finger.

DERRIUS WEBB: “Koji thought he was going to end the streak…”

He raises his index finger again and shakes it back and forth.

DERRIUS WEBB: “No sir! No sir, not today! You, my man? You got to be lucky number thirteen right here in Mexico!”

The crowd erupts as that last word leaves his lips. He turns back to the crowd and moves the championship from one shoulder to his other.

DERRIUS WEBB: “It was a pleasure to fight here tonight. You people have a beautiful country and I just hope that this fight is exactly what you were wanting to see this evening. Another stop on my Middleweight Championship defense tour!”

He pulls the championship belt from his shoulder and holds it above his head with both hands, putting it on full display for the crowd. “Thank you, Mexico” his lips read as he says it over and over before lowering the championship and placing it back down onto his shoulder.

DERRIUS WEBB: “This camp leading up to this fight was brutal to say the least. I, along with my team, put in a lot of work to earn this outcome here tonight. I want to thank you guys for helping me be here tonight standing as the winner and still… UGP MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WOORRRLLLLDD!!! Thank you to my sponsor, Puma, for keeping me fly as fuck and rocking only the best in and out of the cage! Y’all sponsored me for a reason and I’m proving time and time again that it was the best investment you ever could have made. I bet on myself every time and you believe in me.”

He points out to the crowd.

DERRIUS WEBB: “YOU ALL believe in me. Thank you, I won’t let you down… not a single one of you out there supporting me. Bet on me if you want to win big. I stand by that statement every single fight. Thank you!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welp, there you have it, folks! Give it up once again for the Middleweight Champion, Derrius Webb!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, we are back from our break for station identification, and we are just moments away from our Bantamweight Championship Main Event here at the Mexico City Arena! Before we dive into the action one last time, the stars are out in full force as none other than former Bantamweight Champion Gianna Howard is here tonight! After nearly a yearlong layoff, we all witnessed her return to action at UGP 56 when she beat former two-time Lightweight Champion Paige Holloway in an epic five round Dream Fight. Afterward, she claims she’s keeping her options open, potentially flirting with the idea of competing in multiple divisions. We mentioned Bantamweight and Lightweight, but now with the soon to be Featherweight Division in the works, we could be seeing The Ghost on a more regular basis.”

BYRON McCALL: “Gianna Howard’s return to the octagon was nothing short of spectacular. Her victory over Paige Holloway proved that she’s still a force to be reckoned with, regardless of any weight class. And now, with the possibility of her exploring multiple weight classes, the MMA world is abuzz. Howard’s versatility and skill set make her an instant contender no matter which weight class she chooses to compete in.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “I don’t think it’s a coincidence that she is here tonight when both the 155-pound and 135-pound titles are scheduled. She could very well be doing some scouting. But with that, let’s not waste anymore time, I know the crowd here is ready and the viewers at home are ready, so let’s toss it back to the action one final time!”

As the crowd roars in anticipation, the arena lights dim, and a rhythmic beat begins to pulsate through the speakers. The sound of trumpets and Latin percussion fills the air, signaling the arrival of Magdalena Moruga, ready to unleash havoc inside the octagon. The giant screens around the arena flicker to life, displaying the Mexican flag billowing proudly against a backdrop of fireworks and a vibrant display of colors. The crowd erupts into cheers as they catch a glimpse of the iconic symbol representing the warrior spirit of Mexico.

With each step, the arena floor illuminates beneath Magdalena’s feet, guiding her path towards the octagon. She emerges from the shadows, draped in a majestic cloak made entirely of the Mexican flag, the green, white, and red proudly displaying her heritage. Magdalena’s face radiates determination and focus as she walks with purpose, her eyes locked onto the cage ahead. The speakers continue to pump out the energetic beats of “Bandoleros” by Don Omar, the perfect soundtrack to ignite the crowd’s passion.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And here we go with one fight left on the night in the Mexico City Arena, the crowd is absolutely buzzing for the pride of Mexico, the #2 ranked Bantamweight contender, Magdalena Moruga! The journey back to a Championship opportunity has been a long and winding road. Remember, she stepped up on short notice to fight for the title at UGP 47. That’s the epitome of the Mexican fighting spirit right there — never backing down from a challenge, no matter the odds. She’s run the gauntlet, facing some of the toughest competition in the division and emerging victorious time and time again.”

BYRON McCALL: “Magdalena Moruga’s meteoric rise through the ranks of Union GP is a result of how she operates. She’s relentless, unforgiving, and just a downright menace. Tonight, Moruga finds herself on the biggest stage of her career, facing off against the number one pound-for-pound fighter for the Bantamweight Title. She’s not just fighting for herself tonight, she’s fighting for her country, her fans, and her legacy. She’s a symbol of Mexican pride. And with the entire arena behind her, she’s ready to leave it all on the line and make history tonight.”

As Moruga approaches the cageside area, a gust of wind sweeps through the arena, creating a whirlwind of confetti in the colors of the Mexican flag, engulfing the atmosphere in a burst of national pride. The crowd rises to their feet, their cheers growing louder, echoing throughout the entire venue. With her Mexican flag-draped shoulders, Magdalena steps onto the platform leading to the cage. She pauses for a moment, raising her arms high, displaying the flag for all to see. The crowd’s cheers reach a crescendo, as the image of a fighter deeply connected to her roots becomes etched into the minds of every spectator.

Finally, Magdalena begins to disrobe down to her BST Fightwear gear, and embraces each one of her coaches before turning to the official for her inspection. After a detailed examination, she is cleared for competition. Magdalena takes a deep breath, her focus sharpening. She recites a prayer then races up the steel steps, entering the octagon with fierce passion and purpose. Moruga shuffles to her corner, and bounces around to stay loose and in the moment as she awaits for her challenger ahead.

MAKING YOUR DREAM COME TRUE

(WHERE ARE YOU?)

As the beat of “All Is Gone” by Kandia buzzes through the Mexico City Arena, a hush falls over the crowd. The arena erupts in a cosmic storm of neon lights, swirling in rhythm with the music, casting a mesmerizing glow across the octagon. Draped in a Dior fashioned warm up suit donned in green, white, and red – obviously having the Mexican flag design in mind – CC Flynn flaunts her audacity, a deliberate dig at her opponent and to the crowd. With each step, she exudes an air of invincibility, her swagger an embodiment of her Harlem roots, a magnet for both adoration and disdain. Her entourage, clad in matching attire, follows behind her like Secret Service agents. On one side, a cornerman holds the Union GP Bantamweight Championship high above his head. On the other side of her, another cornerman holds her custom SupaFight Championship belt, one with a diamond-encrusted dollar sign on the center plate and white leather strap. CC’s gaze pierces through the veil of lights, fixating on her adversary with a calculated blend of contempt and confidence.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And with the final walkout of the night, the face of Union GP, the notorious Bantamweight Champion, “Supastar” CC Flynn! The #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world always brings her larger than life theatrics to the dance. Flynn’s trash-talking antics have made her a polarizing figure in the sport, but love her or hate her, you can’t deny her skill inside the cage. With a remarkable boxing pedigree and a knack for getting under her opponent’s skin, Supa has become one of the most decorated fighters all-time. She’s a former champion in Everest MMA and Ryūjin FC, wherever she goes, she commands attention!”

BYRON McCALL: “Flynn’s notorious trash-talking antics have made her a polarizing figure in the sport, but there’s no denying her skill inside the cage. She’s not just all talk — she backs it up with her fists. And with an incredible boxing pedigree, she’s a nightmare for anyone standing across from her. After taking time off for Ramadan, she’s come back stronger than ever, riding a five-fight win streak into tonight and looking to make her fourth title defense tonight. In case y’all forgot, Supa’s not done yet. With her eyes set on making history as having the second most Bantamweight title defense all-time, she’s ready to roll back into action and show the world why she’s the queen of this Division.”

As she approaches the inspection point, Flynn’s demeanor remains unflinching. After she disrobes and dabs up her cornermen, the officials begin the customary checks. Her face is meticulously greased. Equipment is examined and deemed fit. With a final nod to the officials, CC Flynn steps through the doors of the octagon. Her eyes lock onto her opponent, a calculated smirk playing on her lips. The music fades, the lights dim, and the moment hangs suspended in time, a collision of wills awaiting its cue.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Main Event of the evening! Sanctioned by the Federacion de Artes Marciales Mixtas Equidad y Juego Limpio, our three judges scoring this contest at cageside are Alejandro Gomez, Diego Herrera, and Lupita Fernandez, and when the action begins, our referee in charge in the octagon is Archie Driscoll. AND NOW, this is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Live from the sold out Arena Ciudad de México in Ciudad de México, México, streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network…”

IT’S TIME!

MIKE DEMPSEY: “The following contest is scheduled for five rounds and it is for the Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Championship! Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Muay Thai Kickboxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of fifteen wins, four losses. She stands 5’5” tall, and weighing in at 135 pounds. She is from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, fighting out of the Entram Gym — presenting the former Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Title Challenger and the number two ranked Bantamweight Contender in the World, “Cold Heart” Magdalena Moruga!”

Magdalena Moruga exudes a commanding presence as she takes her place in her corner, her clenched fist raised high in the air. The deafening roar of the crowd echoes through the arena, a chorus of cheers that carries the weight of a nation’s unbridled support for this extraordinary fighter. The arena trembles with the shared energy of the crowd. With a quick glance around the arena, Moruga absorbs the sheer magnitude of the moment. The sea of faces before her represents not only her ardent supporters but also those who doubt her, who believe her to be an underdog. Yet, these doubts only fuel the fire that rages within her, propelling her towards greatness.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “And her opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Boxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of fifteen wins, seven losses. She stands 5’8” tall, and weighing in at 134 pounds. She is from The Black Mecca — Harlem, New York, fighting out of Prodigy 206 — presenting the former Everest MMA SZN 1 Featherweight Champion, the former Ryūjin FC Champion, AND THE REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Champion of the World, “Supaestrela” CC Flynn!”

Amidst the chaotic frenzy that envelops the arena, CC Flynn finds herself consumed by the sheer intensity of the moment. The thunderous roar of the crowd pulsates through her very being as they universally chant the name of her opponent, their passion serving only to stoke the flames of her will. Standing in her corner, Supa exudes an aura of unwavering confidence, her poised demeanor a powerful statement to her uncompromising belief in herself during these defining moments of her journey.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And here we go, folks! A fight for the ages here in Mexico City!”

The referee strides boldly into the center of the cage, commanding the attention of both fighters with a stern gaze. As Mike Dempsey looms in the background, clutching the microphone, referee Archie Driscoll delivers a final oration, his words echoing through the tense silence of the arena.

ARCHIE DRISCOLL: “Alright ladies, we’ve gone through the rules in the back. Protect yourself at all times, follow my instructions, touch gloves and let’s do it.”

Both fighters are on the brink of unleashing their pent-up adrenaline. Moruga extends her clenched fists for a respectful glove touch, only to be met with Flynn’s defiant gesture as she flips off her opponent before retreating to her corner. The crowd’s displeasure swiftly escalates into a chorus of boos as the tension mounts. Archie Driscoll deliberately checks each fighter one final time, confirming their readiness for the impending Championship clash.

ROUND ONE: The anticipation crackles like electricity in the air as the Bantamweight Championship bout kicks off. Both Flynn and Moruga pace like caged animals, gauging each other’s movements with steely focus. Flynn, the crafty southpaw, flicks out her jab, testing Moruga’s range. But Moruga, with her Muay Thai pedigree, stays light on her feet, bobbing and weaving, waiting for her moment to strike. In the opening exchanges, neither fighter commits fully, both wary of the other’s strengths. Flynn, known for her dodging and counter-punching, slips away from Moruga’s probing strikes, while Moruga, with her fluid striking ability, looks for openings to land her heavy hands. As the round progresses, Moruga starts to find her rhythm, connecting with a crisp right hand down the center that catches Flynn’s attention. Sensing an opportunity, Moruga presses forward, throwing caution to the wind as she launches into a flurry of strikes. Flynn, caught off guard, retreats under the onslaught, her back against the cage as Moruga unleashes a leaping knee that finds its mark. But Flynn, showing her Championship mettle, quickly regains her composure, circling back to the center of the cage. The pace slows momentarily as both fighters recalibrate their game plans. Moruga, sensing her opponent’s vulnerability, targets Flynn’s body with a thunderous left hook, followed by a sweeping right hand upstairs. Flynn is unfazed and pushes forward in the closing seconds, attempting to mount her own offense with a turning kick that grazes Moruga’s midsection. The round ends with both fighters still standing, but the momentum shifting in Moruga’s favor.

ROUND TWO: The second round opens with Moruga’s fists flying like pistons, catching Flynn off guard with a sharp two-piece combo to the head. Flynn, momentarily stunned, retreats under Moruga’s onslaught, but she quickly rallies, firing back with her own left hook that snaps Moruga’s head back before following up with a straight right. It’s a back-and-forth battle as both fighters exchange blows in the center of the cage. Moruga counters with an uppercut from within the pocket, showcasing her fluid striking ability. The intensity ramps up as Flynn finds her rhythm, connecting with crisp left hook counters, each strike chipping away at Moruga’s will. However, Moruga proves her mettle by planting her feet and delivering a thunderous right hook that sends shockwaves through Flynn’s dome. Flynn attempts to close the distance, only to be met with a barrage of strikes from Moruga, who capitalizes on Flynn’s momentary lapse in defense. As the round progresses, tensions flare between the two fighters, with Flynn raising her hands in defiance, taunting Moruga after absorbing a series of punches. Moruga, fueled by adrenaline, responds with a flurry of strikes and a spinning kick that catches Flynn off guard. Despite her being more active and successful, it’s Moruga who bears the brunt of the punishment, sporting a pronounced hematoma on the right side of her head as she returns to her corner.

ROUND THREE: With the Championship on the line, Flynn comes out guns blazing in this pivotal third round, relentless in her pursuit of victory. She peppers Moruga with long, accurate combinations, each strike finding its mark with surgical precision. Moruga attempts to keep the momentum of the fight in her favor with a well-placed knee to the body, but Flynn shrugs it off, pressing forward with stubborn perseverance. A pinpoint one-two sends Moruga crashing to the canvas, the impact reverberating throughout the arena. Putting her warrior spirit on full display, Moruga refuses to stay down as she tries scrambling to her feet. But Flynn is smelling blood in the water. She mounts Moruga and rains down punches from top position, looking to finish the fight then and there. Moruga, battered and bruised, desperately defends against Flynn’s relentless assault, but she’s unable to mount any offense of her own. With the referee watching closely, Moruga offers little resistance as Flynn secures full mount and unleashes a final flurry of punches. With her defenses crumbling under the weight of Flynn’s onslaught, Moruga is unable to intelligently defend herself. The referee is left with no choice but to intervene, signaling the end of the bout.

The roar of the crowd was deafening, a wave of passion that sent shockwaves through the air in the Mexico City Arena. CC Flynn, her chest heaving and her face saturated with sweat and blood, scaled the fence and sat perched on top, cupping her ear as if she couldn’t hear their animosity, provoking the crowd to continue the boos.

Magdalena Moruga on the other hand, lay sprawled out on the canvas. The Ringside Physicians rushed in and circled around her, their hands moving with precision as they assessed her condition. It was a tense moment, but Moruga was a warrior, and she slowly but surely regained her footing. The crowd erupted into applause once again, relieved that she appeared to be okay. It was a gesture of respect to the heart of these fighters, who put it all on the line every time they stepped into the cage. The doctors conclude their examinations and retreat from the octagon, leaving the combatants to confront each other once more in the center of the cage, where the outcome of their fight awaits its official verdict.

The crowd is still in pandemonium as Bodie Sullivan stands in the center of the octagon, microphone in hand. CC Flynn, with the Bantamweight Championship draped over one shoulder and her custom SupaFight Championship over the other, strides confidently towards Bodie, a nefarious smirk playing on her lips. She exudes an aura of dominance, unapologetically reveling in the boos.

BODIE SULLIVAN:Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with the winner AND STILL undisputed Bantamweight Champion, CC Flynn! Congratulations on another impressive victory! You were in a tough spot in the first two rounds, but you managed to turn it around in the third. What was going through your mind during those early exchanges?”

CC FLYNN: “First off, Alhamdulillah. Every victory, every setback, it’s all part of His plan. You see, Bodie, I thrive in the fire. I felt her power and I knew I could take those hits and keep firing back. It was just a matter of time before I caught her slipping. That’s just how it goes when you’re in the cage with the Supa Champ.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “You’ve been through some tough battles throughout your career. How were you able to stay focused and composed, especially during those wild exchanges where it was looking like you were in some trouble?”

CC FLYNN: “Shout out to my squad at Prodigy 206, holding it down day in and day out. They keep me straight and we drill these types of scenarios. You’re gonna have to do a lot more to put me away. Supa is here to stay. I’m coming for that record, most title defenses in history. Mark my words.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “So with this win, you are now second all-time in Bantamweight Title defenses, only trailing behind Gianna Howard. What’s next for Supa?”

CC FLYNN: “Bodie, like I said before, I gave these bums a chance to steal the spotlight while I took some time off, and what’d they do? They had to drag two fighters out of retirement to make a “Dream Fight” just to try and keep up with the numbers I’m doing. Listen, if Gianna Howard don’t ghost on us again, she can get pieced up. If not? Then I’m up for any challenger. Open invitation to anyone in the division, except that Stan Serenity Holmes, of course. Better yet, maybe I’ll make some noise at this new Featherweight Division or even at Lightweight. They say I’m too much for Bantamweight, Bodie, but I say, bring it on. Y’all gonna be calling me “Supa Threeofum”, that’s me.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Supa, I want to congratulate you once again for another spectacular performance…”

CC FLYNN: “Listen, one last thing. I got the whole company on lockdown, and Inshallah, it’s gonna stay that way. So if you think you got what it takes to hang, let it be known. But just remember, ain’t nobody taking this belt from around my waist!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “There you have it, folks! Give it up for the Bantamweight Champion, CC Flynn!”

The crowd erupts into a frenzy of cheers and jeers as CC Flynn basks in the spotlight, her presence commanding the center of attention. With a final nod to Bodie Sullivan, she exits the octagon, leaving behind a trail of anticipation for her next conquest. As the camera feed begins to zoom out, a wave of camera flashes illuminate the scene as the feed gradually fades away. The Battleground Network emblem blazed across the screen as the final graphic, bringing the night’s live stream to an end.
