UGP 69 WEIGH-IN RESULTS
All three title bouts are officially set for UGP 69: MOMO’A vs VOLKOV after a tense weigh-in session on Saturday in Los Angeles. Middleweight Champion Zion Momo’a and challenger Sasha Volkov each came in right at the 185-pound Championship limit, locking in the highly anticipated headliner without issue.
The drama came at Welterweight, where undefeated Champion Hendrik Geen initially hit the scale at 170.5 pounds, his second consecutive title fight missing weight on the first attempt. Given an hour to shed the final half pound, Geen returned to the scale and successfully made the Championship limit at 170, keeping one of Sunday night’s Double Feature Co-Main Events with Byron McCall intact.
Featherweight Champion Verona Jimenez and challenger Lucija Dragicevic both came in on point at 145 pounds, finalizing the night’s third title fight. The remaining fighters on the card, including standout matchups featuring Alexander Sokolov, Mason Lambert, Benji Meyers, and 2Face Rodríguez, all made weight without issue.
UGP 69: MOMO’A vs VOLKOV takes place Sunday, August 31 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California and will be streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network. The Early Prelims will kick off at 6:00 PM ET, the Prelims will kick off at 8:00 pm ET, and the Main Card will kick off at 10:00 pm ET.
The Main Event and two Co-Main Event bouts are scheduled for five rounds. All other bouts are scheduled for three rounds.
