ROUND THREE: Mitsunari knows he needs a finish to win, and he comes out swinging with everything he has left. Briggs continues to stay calm and composed, effortlessly evading Mitsunari’s desperate attacks. With time running out, Mitsunari risks it all with a flying knee attempt, but Briggs anticipates it perfectly and counters with a devastating right hook that sends Mitsunari crashing to the canvas once again. Sensing victory within his grasp, Briggs pounces on Mitsunari, raining down a barrage of strikes until the final horn sounds and the referee is forced to intervene, stopping the fight. The crowd erupts as Briggs is without question the winner, his dominance throughout the bout undeniable.

Zambrano, fueled by the memory of his previous victory, exudes confidence, while Saetang’s focused expression reveals her determination to avenge her prior loss. The crowd erupts as the bell rings, signaling the start of the bout. Zambrano wastes no time, unleashing a barrage of lightning-fast karate kicks and punches, aiming to overwhelm Saetang with his striking prowess. Saetang, however, remains composed, utilizing her Muay Thai to expertly evade Zambrano’s attacks while countering with precise strikes of her own. Zambrano’s aggression is met with Saetang’s calculated defense, creating a thrilling back-and-forth exchange that electrifies the audience. As the round progresses, Zambrano’s karate kicks find their mark, landing with pinpoint accuracy on Saetang’s body and legs. Saetang refuses to back down, though, absorbing the punishment and retaliating with devastating leg kicks and powerful punches that infiltrates Zambrano’s defense. The momentum swings like a pendulum, each fighter refusing to give an inch in this high-stakes battle. The first round concludes with both fighters trading blows in the center of the cage, neither willing to concede an inch of territory. The crowd roars with excitement as the referee separates the fighters, signaling the end of a thrilling first round that sets the stage for an explosive second frame.

ROUND TWO: The ferocity ramps back up as Saetang and Zambrano meet in the center of the cage for the second round. Zambrano continues to press the action with aggressive strikes, looking to capitalize on his opponent’s perceived vulnerabilities. However, Saetang remains calm and composed, patiently waiting for her opportunity to strike. As the round progresses, Zambrano’s confidence gets the better of him as he becomes increasingly reckless with his attacks. Sensing an opening, Saetang unleashes a lightning-fast head kick that connects flush with Zambrano’s jaw, sending him stumbling backward. Seizing the moment, Saetang follows up with a barrage of punches, driving Zambrano to the mat. The crowd erupts in disbelief as Saetang pounces on her fallen opponent, raining down punches with vicious intent. With Zambrano unable to defend himself, the referee steps in to stop the fight, declaring Syn Saetang the winner.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And we are back from the break, folks. Check out who we got here in the crowd tonight. Two-time Lightweight Champion Jordan Parker-Kane is in the building, soaking in the energy!”

BYRON McCALL: “It’s great to see him back in action, and he looked very good against Abbie Peterson. He’s broken back into the top ten, and I’m sure he’s eyeing that title fight sooner rather than later to become the first ever three-time champion in a single division!”

ROUND ONE: The atmosphere in the arena crackled with anticipation as the first ranked contener of the night, Franny Garza, and her opponent, Ciaran Callahan, stepped into the octagon. Garza, known for her lightning-fast strikes and elusive footwork, is first to initiate. She danced around Callahan, darting in and out with precision strikes that found their mark. Callahan tried to counter Garza’s attacks with his own crisp punches, but she proved to be too elusive, slipping out of range effortlessly. Garza’s dominance in the striking department was evident as she controlled the center of the cage, landing clean shots while evading Callahan’s counter attempts.

ROUND TWO: As the second round commenced, Garza maintained her aggressive stance, looking to capitalize on her early success. However, Callahan refused to back down, gradually finding his rhythm and timing. With each exchange, Callahan grew more confident, landing a thunderous left hand that rocked Garza to her core. The crowd erupted in shock as Garza stumbled backward, struggling to regain her composure. Sensing an opportunity, Callahan pressed forward, unleashing a barrage of strikes that left Garza bloodied and battered. Despite her valiant efforts, Garza struggled to fend off Callahan’s relentless assault, signaling a shift in momentum as Callahan began to assert his dominance.

ROUND THREE: With the tide turning in his favor, Callahan was determined to take control of the final round, relentlessly pursuing Garza with unwavering aggression. Garza, visibly fatigued from the previous rounds, struggled to keep up with Callahan’s pace. Despite her best efforts, Garza found herself backed against the cage, absorbing blow after blow from Callahan’s onslaught. Desperate to turn the tide, Garza attempted an uncharacteristic takedown, but Callahan showcased his superior grappling skills, sprawling effortlessly to maintain control. With Garza vulnerable on the ground, Callahan capitalized on the opportunity, sinking in a tight rear-naked choke that left Garza with no choice but to tap out, sealing his stunning upset victory. In the aftermath of the thrilling bout, the crowd erupted in a mixture of shock and awe, as Callahan’s victory reverberated throughout the arena. With his impressive performance, Callahan proved himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Bantamweight Division, almost certainly solidifying himself back in the top ten rankings.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen! Before we get to the featured prelim bout, we cannot hold out any longer and must give a shout out to the Hall of Famer and ICSC executive, Cass Madrigal!”

BYRON McCALL: “The Big Boss Lady is in the building and it’s always great to see her! She made a name for herself in Vegas, and the crowd is loving the legend here tonight!”

ROUND ONE: Alexander Sokolov and Reece Parker stepped into the cage, ready to unleash fury. The crowd roared, hungry for Middleweight action. The opening bell chimed, and the bout began. Reece, with his lanky frame, employed his reach advantage, flicking out stinging jabs and precise kicks, keeping Sokolov at bay. Sokolov, known for his relentless pressure, cautiously circled, studying Reece’s movements. Reece’s strikes found their mark early, peppering Sokolov’s guard and scoring points with the judges. But Sokolov weathered the storm, and eventually began bobbing and weaving, looking for an opening. Reece seemed in control, dominating the center of the cage with his movement and strikes. But then, in a blink, the tide turned. Sokolov exploded forward with a brutal left hook that landed flush on Reece’s jaw. The crowd gasped as Reece stumbled backward, his eyes instantly glazed over. Sokolov smelled blood and pounced, raining down hammer fists on Reece’s defenseless form. Reece, running on pure instincts, tried to scramble to safety, but Sokolov’s onslaught was unrelenting. With each blow, Reece’s resistance faded, until finally, his senses were separated and ragdolled to the canvas. The referee intervened, waving off the fight as Sokolov celebrated triumphantly in the center of the cage. The arena erupted in a wave of cheers and applause as Sokolov secured another win by knockout.

The stream fades in from darkness as the roar of the crowd amplifies. The feed starts with a cinematic aerial view of The Sphere exterior, bathed in a dazzling array of lights. Suddenly, a high-tech drone camera swoops into view, zipping through the night sky with precision and speed. The crowd below can be seen, eagerly waiting to witness the epic showdown about to unfold.

As the drone camera continues its aerial journey, it dives down toward the entrance of the arena. Here, the stage setting is nothing short of spectacular. The main stage entrance is adorned with towering screens displaying incredible fighter highlights. Pyrotechnics are primed, ready to unleash fiery explosions, and a cascade of dazzling lights dance in rhythm with the heart-pounding music.

The drone continues its flight, capturing the electrifying energy of the crowd below. The fans, dressed in a sea of colors, wave flags and banners, their excitement reaching a fever pitch. The drone camera hovers for a moment, capturing the anticipation, before the arena erupts with pyrotechnics and dazzling lights one final time, setting the tone for the thrilling event about to begin. As the grand finale wraps up, the feed pops up the poster for tonight’s card.

The drone camera, with a graceful turn, moves toward the cageside area, where the commentary team awaits their cue. The camera smoothly pans in to reveal the dynamic duo, Bodie Sullivan and the legendary Hall of Famer, Byron McCall, standing at their cageside booth.

Bodie and Byron exchange knowing nods, their excitement evident as they prepare to provide their insightful commentary on the wars about to be waged.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, we are live exclusively on the Battleground Network here at the brand new state-of-the-art Sphere in Sin City — Las Vegas, Nevada, and the octagon is officially open for business for UGP LV: SUPA versus MEECHAN! Hello everyone and thank you for tuning in! I am Bodie Sullivan and joining me on my left is the Hall of Fame Legend and the voice of all combat sports, “The Last Call” Byron McCall! B-Mac, it’s great to be back calling the action here in what is widely known as the Fight Capital of the World!”

BYRON McCALL: “No question, Bodie! We’ve started hot out here in the desert as the prelims certainly delivered some bangers on their end, and now we gear up for what is sure to be a spectacular main card! We’ve got two Championship fights headlining the card, as well as a trio of high stakes matchups in three separate divisions on the undercard.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Let’s not waste anymore time and dive right into it, shall we? For the Main Card opener, we begin with a Heavyweight bout between two rising prospects who are ushering in the next wave of contenders as #4 ranked Benjamin Clarke takes on the #8 ranked Kenjiro Nakamura. Both of these behemoths signed their Union GP contracts off of big performances on an episode of DRIP over the summer, and have so far shown a lot of potential as legitimate contenders.”

BYRON McCALL: “Absolutely, the future of this division looks to be in good hands. Benjamin Clarke has been pretty active and willing to take on the biggest names available as he targets a title fight as quickly as possible. In his most recent fight, he scored a momentous second round knockout over former Everest MMA SZN 1 and 2 Heavyweight Champion, Dax Levandrier. Tonight he looks to make it back-to-back wins and cement himself on the short list of title contenders. However, Kenjiro Nakamura possesses the skill set that has shown to pose a lot of problems for Benjamin Clarke. Nakamura’s relentless work ethic amplifies his intangibles. He isn’t the biggest guy, but he’s got a solid reach that can create space where he will land strikes at a distance and not allow his opponent to get too close where he can connect with those big power shots or initiate any wrestling. If Nakamura can manage that distance, he’ll have a great chance at stacking another win on top of his big Union GP debut win.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “From there we head into a Middleweight clash between former Everest MMA SZN 3 Welterweight Champion and the #3 ranked Middleweight Contender Kian De Beer taking on the #8 ranked Koji Murakami. B-Mac, the Middleweight Division was featured heavily last month at UGP 54 in New Orleans, with four bouts scheduled at 185-pounds on the card. The aftermath created a lot of movement in the rankings, and has created a lot of new opportunities for these contenders. Both of these fighters would offer a fresh matchup to the reigning Champion Derrius Webb. You could speculate that a win and a spectacular performance could potentially skyrocket their stock value and push them right up to the front of the line.”

BYRON McCALL: “Yeah, it’s a very good possibility. Although I believe the current #1 ranked Venus Sagapolutele has earned the right to fight for the title next, this is a “what have you done for me lately” type of business. Kian De Beer and Venus Sagapolutele have fought twice and split the series. Should he win, could that potentially set up a trilogy fight to decide who contends for the title next? Yeah, that’s possible, but I don’t think Derrius Webb wants to wait around too long for his next opponent. Despite being a fan favorite with his fast paced and aggressive style, Kian De Beer has been driving the struggle bus lately. After dominating the field in Everest MMA, sweeping the season with a 4-0 run to the title, De Beer has stumbled on some hurdles in his Union GP run as he’s gone 3-3 in his six fights. Koji Murakami on the other hand is the fresh new toy in the division. He made his return to the sport during the Ryūjin FC Orochi Grand Prix at RFC 4, and showed that he can still go at the highest level. However, he’s 37 years old, so his window of opportunity is narrow. If he can pick up the win tonight against the highly touted South African, don’t be surprised if he calls out Derrius Webb. He’s got a great fight IQ, he’s bagged three Performance bonuses in four fights, and he needs to strike while the iron is hot.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “When you break it all down, there’s certainly a lot of avenues these two fighters could potentially face in the future after tonight. In our next fight, however, in the featured undercard bout, the future seems a little clearer for these two. Former Lightweight Champion 2Face Rodríguez takes on the undefeated Londson product, Dillon Mills. Both of these gentlemen sit inside the top five, and with the uncertain status of current #1 ranked and former two-time Lightweight Champion Paige Holloway hanging in the balance, this feels like a bonafide number one contender bout for the reigning Champion, Sadie Williams.”

BYRON McCALL: “As of now, we don’t know what is next for the 155-pound Champion, but you’re right, this fight could answer that question. In all honesty, the potential high stakes all revolve around the former Champion. He is the benchmark for title contention. He has the accolades and he has the history, but we haven’t seen the activity lately. Rodríguez hasn’t fought since November 2023, where he picked up a win over Regis Pierre Paul in a three round thriller. We thought that perhaps he’s been biding his time, waiting for the right matchups to get him back in the title picture. This is a great matchup to remind anyone who musta forgot. Dillon Mills is an eager prospect who has yet to taste defeat. It’s clear that he wants to steer in a similar path as Rodríguez and race to a title fight as quickly as possible. There’s no better opponent to slingshot yourself toward a title fight than picking up a win over the former Champion himself who built the blueprint. However, we know that 2Face isn’t the type of guy that’s gonna allow that kind of postulation to go unchallenged. Rodríguez has so many similarities of his Head Coach, the former simultaneous two-division Champion and Hall of Famer Delaney Donovan, with added brazen aggression and impudent mind games. We’ll see if Dillon Mills can harness that blitz and channel it with his counter striking. It’s a big test ahead that has the makeup of being a dark-horse candidate for Fight of the Night!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “They’ll have to contend with our final two fights as we then move into the Championship block of the card. In our Co-Main Event, we have a long awaited rematch with the Heavyweight Championship at stake as the reigning Champion Viktor Volkov takes on the former Champion Donnie Calabrese. These two met for the first time way back in August 2020 at UGP 22 in Philadelphia, where they both returned from a lengthy hiatus from Union GP. As history reminds us, Volkov got his hand raised that night after securing a first round TKO stoppage. Now, the stakes are at an all-time high in the second act with the ultimate prize up for grabs.”

BYRON McCALL: “Since their first meeting, both of these guys have been on similar paths. They’ve each built up quite impressive runs, only to fall short in a Championship bout — of course Volkov has obviously exercised those demons and captured gold since then. Both of these men have been here since day one, and have been huge contributors to building the empire Union Grand Prix has become today. There’s so much history injected into this match up, it’s truly a culmination of the legacy of this division. This fight is scheduled for five rounds, but let me let you all in on a little secret… In the 49 fights these two have combined together over the course of their Union GP tenures, there’s only been one time — ONE TIME — that either of these guys have gone all five rounds. That was Viktor Volkov just recently when he won the title against Gauge Lattimore. What I’m saying is, get your bev, grab your popcorn, and glue yourself to the action because this is guaranteed to be an absolute slugfest that will, in all likelihood, not see the final horn!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “The same sentiments can be said about our final fight of the night. In the Main Event, it’s a battle of Bantamweight greats as the reigning Champion CC Flynn squares up with former Champion Dallas Meechan. Tonight’s electrifying lineup is dominated by the bantamweights, promising a seismic shift in the fiercest and most thrilling division in MMA today. This Main Event showdown promises to redefine the landscape, and when the newest edition of the rankings are released, we could be seeing a completely new division that’s been flipped on its head, capped off with this high octane Championship tilt.”

BYRON McCALL: “This matchup has been a long time coming! We’ve got the future going toe-to-toe with the pioneer of this division. This showdown couldn’t wait any longer — we even moved the entire event up a day to ensure that CC Flynn could honor Ramadan properly and still compete. That’s the kind of clout our Champion carries, and tonight, she’s looking to cement her legacy by taking down another legend. Dallas Meechan? He’s a lock for the Hall of Fame, no doubt. But let’s face it, he’s standing at a career crossroads. Ever since losing his title and the immediate rematch to Gianna Howard, his performances have been lackluster. But if anyone can turn back the clock and reclaim past glory, it’s him. Meechan’s still got that fire, that striking prowess that can’t be ignored. Flynn, on the other hand, might seem one-dimensional, but she’s mastered her craft like no other. Nobody’s been able to crack her code for ages. Tonight, it’s a clash of styles, a battle of wills. The outcome? It could settle long-standing debates or open up a whole new chapter. As you said, Bodie, by the end of the night, the Bantamweight Division will never be the same again!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And folks, we’ll be here every step of the way, breaking down the action and providing you with the best analysis in the business. So with that, let’s toss it over to our very own hype man himself, the mouthpiece of MMA, Mike Dempsey, who’s on stand by awaiting his cue. Ladies and gentlemen, IT’S BOUT TIME!”

ROUND ONE: The arena buzzes with anticipation as the Heavyweight behemoths, Benjamin Clarke and Kenjiro Nakamura, step into the octagon to begin the Main Card Opener. Both fighters exude confidence, aware of the destructive power they possess. The opening bell rings, and the crowd erupts in excitement. Clarke and Nakamura meet at the center of the cage, exchanging respectful nods before the action ignites. Nakamura, known for his technical prowess, attempts to establish his jab, utilizing swift footwork to circle around. However, Clarke isn’t one to back down, unleashing thunderous leg kicks that echo through the arena in an attempt to slow down his opposition. Feeling the impact, Nakamura shifts his focus, attempting to close the distance and engage in the clinch. Clarke showcases his defensive prowess, thwarting Nakamura’s advances with well-timed counters. A few powerful punches find their mark, causing Nakamura to reassess his strategy. As the round progresses, Nakamura adopts a cautious approach, respecting Clarke’s devastating striking ability. Clarke, sensing his opponent’s trepidation, continues to press forward, stalking Nakamura with calculated precision. Despite Nakamura’s best efforts to evade, Clarke manages to land a couple of significant blows, leaving his opponent visibly shaken as the round comes to a close.

ROUND TWO: With one round in the books, Clarke emerges for the second frame with a newfound ferocity. The crowd roars with excitement as the Heavyweights engage once again. Clarke wastes no time, launching a relentless assault of heavy punches, each one carrying bad intentions. Nakamura, sensing the danger, attempts to create space, utilizing his footwork to evade Clarke’s onslaught. However, Clarke’s power proves to be too overwhelming as he connects with a massive right hand that sends Nakamura staggering backward. Clarke charges forward, unleashing a barrage of strikes that leave Nakamura reeling against the cage. With Nakamura unable to mount a defense, the referee steps in, waving off the contest to save him from further punishment. The crowd erupts in cheers as Clarke celebrates his victory in emphatic fashion.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “We are back ladies and gentlemen from our break for station identification. We’ve got quite the crowd here tonight at the Sphere. And speaking of the crowd, look who’s in attendance tonight! It’s none other than the former Bantamweight Champion, “The Ghost” Gianna Howard! Always a calculating presence. Observing every move, every technique. You think she’s here to scout some talent?”

BYRON McCALL: “You never know, Bodie! This is a Bantamweight-heavy card tonight!  Who knows, maybe she’s eyeing a potential comeback? Wouldn’t that be something? The Vegas crowd certainly are excited to see her here. It adds an extra layer of intensity to tonight’s event.”

ROUND ONE: The opening bell rings, and the crowd erupts as Kian De Beer and Koji Murakami step into the center of the octagon. De Beer, known for his explosive striking, wastes no time in closing the distance, throwing heavy hooks and leg kicks. Murakami, a crafty veteran, utilizes his footwork to evade De Beer’s onslaught, countering with precise jabs and oblique kicks to the knees. The fighters engage in a gritty clinch against the cage, exchanging short elbows and dirty boxing. Murakami demonstrates his versatility with slick transitions and controls, while De Beer showcases his strength with powerful knees to the midsection. As the round progresses, Murakami’s striking accuracy becomes evident, landing crisp combinations and stinging leg kicks. De Beer refuses to back down, firing back with aggression and determination, but Murakami’s superior technique and ring control give him the edge in the judges’ eyes as the round comes to a close.

ROUND TWO: The action intensifies as both fighters come out swinging in the second round. Murakami finds his rhythm early, using his reach advantage to keep De Beer at bay with stiff jabs and snapping head kicks. De Beer, undeterred by the onslaught, presses forward, looking to land his trademark power shots. Murakami, however, maintains his composure, effortlessly slipping De Beer’s strikes and countering with precision. A thunderous head kick from Murakami wobbles De Beer, staggering him against the cage. Sensing an opportunity, Murakami unleashes a barrage of punches and knees, battering De Beer against the fence. De Beer digs deep, displaying his resilience as he weathers the storm and fires back with desperation. Despite his valiant efforts, De Beer struggles to find an answer for Murakami’s calculated offense, leaving him on the defensive for the majority of the round.

ROUND THREE: With the fight hanging in the balance, Murakami enters the final round with confidence, his momentum from the previous rounds carrying him forward. De Beer, feeling the urgency to turn the tide, comes out swinging with everything he has left. Murakami, however, remains composed, utilizing his superior striking and footwork to frustrate De Beer’s advances. Landing crisp combinations and vicious leg kicks, Murakami systematically breaks down De Beer’s defenses, forcing him to retreat. Sensing his opponent’s vulnerability, Murakami unleashes a devastating head kick that sends De Beer crashing to the canvas. With De Beer dazed and disoriented, Murakami pounces on the opportunity, raining down a relentless barrage of ground and pound strikes. After a tense exchange on the ground, the referee has seen enough and steps in to stop the fight, declaring Koji Murakami the winner.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Welcome back to the broadcast, ladies and gentlemen. We’ve got a lot more action ahead, but before we get to that, let’s take a moment to acknowledge a woman who is a surefire future Hall of Famer, the former two-time Lightweight Champion Paige Holloway in the house!”

BYRON McCALL: “Absolutely, Bodie. Holloway’s mind is always analyzing the game, even when she’s not in the cage herself. It’s fascinating to see how fighters like her approach the sport from the sidelines. We don’t know what’s next for her, and we’re not gonna harp on that. We just have to appreciate the presence of greatness here in Vegas! I will say though, our next stop IS in Australia… I’m just saying!”

ROUND ONE: The crowd roars as the bell rings, signaling the start of this electrifying Lightweight bout between the brash former Champion, 2Face Rodríguez, and the undefeated prospect, Dillon Mills. Rodríguez storms forward, unleashing a flurry of strikes, showcasing his veteran experience. Mills, however, remains composed, answering with swift leg kicks and well-timed counters. Rodríguez’s aggression knows no bounds as he continues to push forward, landing punches and slicing elbows with precision. Mills tries to keep his distance, utilizing his footwork to evade, but Rodríguez’s relentless pressure leaves him little room to breathe. With each exchange, Rodríguez’s strikes find their mark, gradually wearing down his opponent. As the round progresses, Rodríguez’s dominance becomes apparent. He traps Mills against the cage, raining down blows upon him relentlessly. Mills attempts to circle away, seeking opportunities to counter, but Rodríguez’s calculated aggression keeps him pinned against the fence. A thunderous shot from Rodríguez splits open a cut on Mills’ face, staining the canvas. Rodríguez closes out the round in spectacular fashion, his strikes echoing through the arena. Despite Mills’ resilience, Rodríguez asserts his dominance, leaving a lasting impression on the judges.

ROUND TWO: The second round commences with Rodríguez picking up right where he left off, maintaining a blistering pace. Mills, undeterred by the adversity, attempts to mount a comeback, landing some crisp shots of his own. However, Rodríguez’s superior volume and accuracy give him the edge, as he peppers Mills with a relentless barrage of strikes. Rodríguez mixes up his attacks, seamlessly transitioning between punches and kicks, keeping Mills guessing at every turn. With each strike, the momentum swings further in Rodríguez’s favor, as he systematically dismantles his opponent. Despite Mills’ valiant efforts to rally, Rodríguez’s onslaught proves too much to handle. A devastating blow causes Mills’ eye to swell shut, prompting the ringside doctor to intervene in between rounds. After a close look, the doctor gives the orders and the referee waves off the contest, declaring Rodríguez the winner via TKO, much to the amazement of the roaring crowd.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And we’re back, fight fans, with more adrenaline-fueled action inside the octagon! As we gear up for our Heavyweight Championship Co-Main Event, we have to give a shout out to the Middleweight Champion Derrius Webb, who is here enjoying the spectacle!”

BYRON McCALL: “Webb is here to show support to his fellow Hit Squad teammate Donnie Calabrese, and to take part of this incredible environment. It’s been a wild one so far, Bodie, and we still have two title fights to go!”

The arena lights dim down slowly, enveloping the building in a shroud of anticipation. The thumping bass of “Bando Commando” by Yavid echoes through the venue, igniting a surge of energy among the fans. The crowd roars with excitement as the anticipation builds for the entrance of the former Heavyweight Champion, Donnie Calabrese. Suddenly, a spotlight shines on the entrance ramp as Donnie emerges from behind the curtains, his eyes locked on the octagon with unwavering determination. Donnie steps forward, his massive frame glistening under the spotlight. With each step, the floor beneath him seems to quake with the weight of his presence. His expression is a mix of focus and confidence, as he visualizes the battle that lies ahead. The crowd erupts into cheers, their voices echoing off the walls of the arena, a testament to Donnie’s status as a beloved fan favorite.

As “Bando Commando” reaches its crescendo, Donnie raises his fists in the air, acknowledging the deafening roar of the crowd. The intensity in his gaze burns brighter, his adrenaline surging with every beat of the music. He knows that this is his moment, his chance to reclaim glory and cement his legacy as one of the greatest Heavyweight Champions in MMA history. With a final nod to the crowd, Donnie begins his walk towards the octagon, his footsteps echoing throughout the arena. Each step is deliberate, every movement calculated as he prepares to face his opponent in the Championship Co-Main Event.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Championship block of the card, and first up in our Co-Main Event, it’s the former Heavyweight Champion, “Dog Face” Donnie Calabrese! There’s not a single individual on this roster who has been here in Union GP longer than him. Throughout his career, we have witnessed the peaks and valleys: from the lowest of lows where he struggled to find his footing early on in his career, to the highest of highs when he reached the pinnacle and captured the title. Tonight marks Donnie’s 28th fight in Union GP, and he has the opportunity to cash in on several major accolades. The biggest and most obvious, he has a chance to reclaim the Heavyweight Crown and become just the second fighter to become a two-time Heavyweight Champion. The other is his chance to become the sole owner of having the most wins in Union GP history. There’s a lot of history up for grabs for Donnie, and he looks as prepared as ever to achieve those feats.”

BYRON McCALL: “When you’ve established a career that has stood the test of time like Donnie Calabrese has, every time you step through those cage doors becomes a spectacle. His presence feels larger than life. He was the man who was hand picked to main event the very first Union GP event in his hometown Chicago, and even though he came up short that night and took some time to finally find his footing, the bosses, and maybe even more importantly the fans, never stopped believing in him. His story is something that the everyday man can relate to. Through all the trials and tribulations, Donnie Calabrese has always tucked his chin, bit down on his mouthpiece, and came out swinging. Since his first fight with Viktor Volkov, Donnie has gone 10-3, which includes a five-fight win streak coming into tonight. He’s got all of the momentum right now, and it seems like a fine wine, he gets better with age!”

Dog Face appears stoic with concentration, just bobbing his head to the beat of his music as he makes it to the cageside inspection area. He disrobed his BST Fightwear warmup gear, and went down the line of his cornermen and dabs them up. After one final pep talk with friend and coach Roscoe Robinson, Donnie turns to the official for the rigorous inspection. Once cleared for competition, he climbs up the steps and heads straight to his corner, flexing for the cameras along the way.

As the thunderous opening riff of STVORE’s “Sgori” reverberates through the arena, a sense of fear sweeps over the audience, for they know that tonight, Viktor Volkov is ready to unleash his malevolent prowess. From the shadows, a figure emerges – Viktor Volkov, the embodiment of mystery and menace. His steely eyes, like shards of glass, remain locked onto the looming cage. Each step he takes is a sinister, deliberate advance, as if he’s treading upon the very precipice of chaos. The spectators hold their breath, caught in the thrill of the moment, as Volkov’s towering frame casts an imposing shadow over the cage. Unfazed by the gravity of the occasion, Viktor Volkov marches onward, a silent harbinger of impending doom. He cracks his knuckles with a resounding snap, the sound echoing like a harbinger of destruction, and swings his arms a few times to loosen the knots in his muscles. The audience is spellbound, unable to tear their eyes away from this vengeful specimen that has emerged from the darkness and into the burning bright lights, ready to unleash his savage might.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, BIG VIK VOLKOV is here! The reigning and defending Heavyweight Champion has been on a blazing streak, and by the looks of it, he has no intentions of slowing down! Just like his opponent, Viktor Volkov is a Day One Union GP original who has carved his name in the history books as one of the best to ever do it for such an extensive period of time. He began his tenure in UGP in the Cruiserweight Division with the likes of Hall of Famers Daniel Fisk Jr. and Roscoe Robinson. However, his career really skyrocketed when he took some time off and bulked up, making a return as a Heavyweight. His first fight in the division? The same man staring him down tonight. Big Vik picked up the big win over Dog Face, and has since gone 11-4. In that span, he captured the Heavyweight Title, defended the title against arguably the Heavyweight GOAT Kennard Rozier, and has stacked a six-fight win streak coming into tonight. Big Vik has earned these big money fights, and there’s simply no debate.”

BYRON McCALL: “You’d have to be a fool to argue otherwise, Bodie. Look at the names he’s conquered during this run: Everest MMA SZN 1 and 2 Heavyweight Champion Dax Levandrier, former Union GP Heavyweight Champion Owen Barnes, former Union GP Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champion Gauge Lattimore, and most recently former Heavyweight GOAT Kennard Rozier. Viktor Volkov could retire yesterday and be a lock for the Hall of Fame, but he wants to build up that resume even more with a second win over another former Champion. With this being his 23rd fight in Union Grand Prix, Volkov looks poised to clean out “the old guard” of the division and set his sights on the next generation. Don’t think for a second he’s looking past Donnie, you can clearly see this man has come to throw down tonight. I cannot wait to see how these two match up compared to their first fight way back at UGP 22. This is a legacy fight for the ages!”

Volkov calmly unsnaps the Heavyweight Championship belt off his waist, removes his BST Fightwear branded tee, and hands them off to an official and a cornerman, respectively, before bumping the fist of every teammate around him. Eventually his head coach steps up in front of him, squirting some water in Volkov’s mouth before handing him his black mouth guard, adorned with the image of the grim reaper. The big Russian pops it into his mouth before the cutman goes to work, carefully placing vaseline across each brow, then rubbing it into his cheeks, nose and forehead area. The cutman then nods to Volkov, who turns, brushing by him as he makes his way up the steps and into the cage. Vik takes a quick lap around the cage, breaking into a light jog before he settles back into his corner, intimidatingly beginning to pace back and forth as his music slowly dies down.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Co-Main Event of the evening! Sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, our three judges scoring this contest at cageside are Finn Morgan, Tommy Willis, and Jackie Graham, and when the action begins, our referee in charge in the octagon is Lars Levy. AND NOW, live from the sold out Sphere in SIN CITY — Las Vegas, Nevada, streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network…”

IT’S TIME!

MIKE DEMPSEY: “The following contest is scheduled for five rounds and it is for the Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Boxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of twenty wins, ten losses. He stands 6’1” tall, and weighing in at 265 pounds. He is from Chicago, Illinois, fighting out of The Hit Squad — presenting the former Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Champion and the number one ranked Heavyweight Contender in the World, “Dog Face” Donnie Calabrese!”

The arena vibrates with the crowd’s thunderous cheers enveloping the space. In his corner, Donnie Calabrese paces with purpose, a controlled intensity evident in every movement. His eyes, burning with determination, scan the arena, absorbing the energy of the crowd. Donnie’s fists clench and unclench rhythmically, the muscles in his arms bulging. He exudes an aura of restrained aggression, his movements betraying the raw power he possesses. With a primal roar, he smashes his fists together, the sound reverberating through the arena like a thunderclap. In that moment, he resembles a ferocious bull, ready to charge forth into battle.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Boxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of sixteen wins, six losses. He stands 6’5” tall, and weighing in at 258.5 pounds. He is from Saint Petersburg, Russia, fighting out of Volkov Fighting Institute — presenting THE REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Champion of the World, “Big” Viktor Volkov!”

The atmosphere in the arena was electric, charged with the energy of thousands of passionate fans eagerly awaiting the Championship Co-Main Event. Amidst the sea of cheering spectators, the dimming lights cast dramatic shadows that danced across Volkov’s chiseled physique, highlighting the power and intensity that radiated from his presence. Volkov raised his fists high, a silent declaration of his intent to dominate. The crowd responded in kind, their cheers echoing off the walls as they rallied behind the Champion. With a final nod to the crowd, Viktor’s focus narrowed, his gaze locked on his familiar opponent across the cage.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And here we go! We’ve got twenty-five minutes on the clock to determine who walks out with the Heavyweight Crown, but believe me, you’re not gonna want to miss a second of this action!”

The referee steps to the center of the cage and motions for both fighters to meet. With Mike Dempsey standing behind holding the microphone, referee Lars Levy gives one final pep talk.

LARS LEVY: “Alright gentlemen, we’ve gone over the rules in the back. Protect yourself at all times, follow my instructions, touch gloves now if you wish to and let’s do it.”

Both fighters seem ready to burst with adrenaline. Without much hesitation, they touch gloves and quickly backpedal to their respective corners. As they settle into their stances, Lars Levy checks off with each fighter one last time, ensuring they are both ready for the challenge that lies ahead.

ROUND ONE: Both fighters stepped into the cage with a palpable tension, a rematch for the ages brewing with anticipation. The opening bell chimed, and they circled each other cautiously, measuring distance. Volkov, the reigning champion, unleashed his trademark aggression early, pushing forward with a relentless barrage of strikes. His fists found their mark, thudding against Calabrese’s guard. But the former champion stood firm, his defense tight as he weathered the storm, countering with precision. Volkov’s power shots echoed through the arena, but Calabrese’s deceptive footwork and head movement kept him elusive, slipping out of danger’s reach. The round escalated into a furious exchange as both fighters traded blows, the crowd roaring with each strike landing. Towards the end, Calabrese found his rhythm, landing crisp punches that snapped Volkov’s head back, but despite the late surge, Volkov’s early aggression likely earned him the round on the judges’ scorecards.

ROUND TWO: The second round begins, and Volkov resumes his forward pressure, hunting for openings with his heavy strikes. Calabrese, however, showed a steady resolve, his jab piercing through Volkov’s defenses with surgical precision. His straight punches snapped Volkov’s head back, testing the champion’s resilience. Volkov refused to yield, his punches carrying the weight of a Champion’s determination. He unleashed a relentless assault, driving Calabrese towards the fence with a barrage of hooks and uppercuts. Calabrese’s defense held, but Volkov’s onslaught began to take its toll, his power shots visibly staggering the former Champion towards the end of the round. It was another close exchange, but Volkov likely edged ahead with his relentless aggression and effective striking.

ROUND THREE: The third round opened with Calabrese unleashing a restored savagery, his punches sharp and precise. He dictated the pace, peppering Volkov with a relentless stream of strikes, his jab finding a home with alarming frequency. Volkov, sensing the momentum shift, dug deep, absorbing the punishment as he searched for an opening. And find it he did. With a thunderous counter, Volkov rocked Calabrese, the arena erupting in cheers as the former Champion stumbled backward on his heels. But Calabrese, undeterred, fired back with venomous intent, refusing to concede defeat. The round devolved into a brutal exchange, both fighters trading blow for blow in a testament to their heart and determination. Yet, it was Volkov’s late surge once again that likely secured him the round, his power shots swinging the momentum back in his favor before the horn.

ROUND FOUR: As the Championship rounds approached, fatigue began to set in, but neither fighter showed any signs of relenting. The fourth round erupted into a symphony of violence, both men unleashing their full arsenal of strikes in a desperate bid for victory. Calabrese’s jab remained a constant threat, snapping Volkov’s head back with each stinging blow. Volkov refused to be outdone, though, with his power shots raining down with bone-crushing force. As the round progressed, both fighters showed signs of weariness, their movements growing sluggish. Yet, their determination never wavered. Then, in a blink of an eye, Volkov unleashed a devastating combination that sent Calabrese reeling, the former Champion visibly hurt as the round drew to a close. It was another close exchange, but Volkov’s devastating display likely earned him yet another round on the judges’ scorecards.

ROUND FIVE: With the Championship hanging in the balance with just five minutes remaining, both fighters entered the final round with a sense of urgency. Calabrese, his face bloodied but unbowed, unleashed a barrage of strikes, his punches fueled by sheer grit and determination. Volkov remained composed, weathering the storm as he searched for an opening to end the fight. However, the unthinkable unfolded in the blink of an eye. With a thunderous left hook, Calabrese sent Volkov crashing to the canvas, the arena exploding in a cacophony of cheers. The referee swiftly intervened, waving off the fight as Calabrese celebrated in triumph. In a stunning display of heart and determination, the once former Champion emerged victorious, reclaiming his Union GP Heavyweight Throne in spectacular fashion.

As Calabrese triumphantly embraces his cornermen, the roar of the crowd crescendos into a thunderous applause that shakes the arena. The medical team rushes into the octagon with urgency, attending to the fallen Volkov. With a swift yet thorough examination, Volkov eventually rises to his feet, showcasing his resilience. The physicians exit the cage, clearing the stage for the climactic moment as both warriors converge at the center of the octagon for the official announcement of the winner.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, referee Lars Levy has called for a stop in this fight at one minute ten seconds in the fifth round, declaring the winner by technical knockout, AAAAAND NEEEEEW undisputed Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Champion of the World, “Dog Face” Donnie Calabrese!”

The audience explodes into cheers and applause, their adulation washing over Calabrese as he is crowned the Heavyweight Champion, his victory symbolized by the prestigious title bestowed upon him by Union GP Founder Dante Reed. With mutual respect, the combatants exchange a firm handshake before embarking on their divergent paths. Meanwhile, the screen illuminates with statistics of the epic clash, while the commentators deliver a riveting recap of the bout’s thrilling moments.

The arena is buzzing with energy as the post-fight interview awaits for the new Heavyweight Champion, Donnie Calabrese. The crowd roars with excitement, still echoing the thunderous cheers from Donnie’s victory moments ago. Bodie Sullivan stands poised with his microphone, ready to capture every word from the victorious fighter. As Donnie circles back to the center of the octagon, the crowd erupts into a deafening applause, chants of “Donnie! Donnie!” fill the air, shaking the arena with their fandom. Donnie strides in, his face batter, bloodied, and bruised, wearing the Championship belt proudly over his shoulder. He takes a moment to soak in the adoration of the crowd before settling in for the interview.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with the winner AND NEW Heavyweight Champion! Donnie Calabrese, what an absolutely incredible performance tonight! You were down for what felt like the entire fight, yet you dug deep and pulled off one of the most astonishing comebacks in recent memory. How are you feeling right now?”

DONNIE CALABRESE: “Bodie, let me tell ya, I feel like a million bucks, but it ain’t about me tonight. It’s about the fans, the ones who’ve been riding with me since day one, cheering me on through thick and thin. This win, it’s for them. For all the love and support they’ve shown me, this is my way of giving back, of saying thank you from the bottom of my heart. They never gave up on me, and I wasn’t about to give up on them.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Donnie, let’s talk about the Hit Squad. Your training camp is world renowned for its intensity and discipline. How instrumental were they in preparing you for this moment?”

DONNIE CALABRESE: “The Squad, they’re like family to me. We sweat together, bleed together, and tonight, we triumph together. They pushed me to my limits, day in and day out, preparing me for this very moment. I owe them everything, and this win, it’s as much theirs as it is mine. To the Hit Squad, I say thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Donnie, let’s talk about the fight itself. You were down for several rounds, taking some big punishment from Viktor Volkov, yet you never gave up. What was going through your mind during those tough moments?”

DONNIE CALABRESE: “Bodie, in this game, you gotta be tough as nails, you gotta have the heart of a lion. Yeah, Big Vik, big ups to him, he came out swinging, he had me on the ropes, but I never lost faith in myself. I knew deep down, I had what it takes to come out on top. I dug deep, I found that fire within me, and I kept pushing forward, never backing down. That’s the mentality of a Champion, Bodie, and tonight, I proved it once again.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “I know there’s gotta be a lot of emotions and thoughts racing through your head right now, but I have to ask, what’s next for Dog Face? Who would you like to face and how soon are you wanting to get back in the octagon?”

DONNIE CALABRESE: “You know me, Bodie, I’m not one to say no to a fight. Whoever the bosses have in mind for me next, it’s not even a hesitation. I’m gonna celebrate tonight, heal up, and get right back in the gym. After that? We’ll see what lines up.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And finally, Donnie, what message do you have for your fans, for the mob, for the Hit Squad, for anyone out there who’s ever faced adversity and needed a reminder to never give up?”

DONNIE CALABRESE: “To all my fans out there, to the family, to the Squad, and to anyone who’s ever faced a challenge and felt like throwing in the towel, I got one thing to say: never give up. No matter how tough things get, no matter how dark the road ahead may seem, keep pushing forward, keep fighting, and never lose sight of your dreams. Tonight, I stand before you as the Heavyweight Champion once again, proof that with determination, with heart, and with the support of those who believe in you, anything is possible. Dog Face all day, baby!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Donnie, it’s been an honor and a privilege to call your fights! Congratulations on once again becoming the Heavyweight Champion. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the Dog Face Donnie Calabrese!”

Donnie’s muscles ripple with exertion as he hoists the gleaming Championship belt high above his head, the golden plates catching the spotlight and casting shimmering reflections across the arena. The crowd, electrified by his victory, explodes into thunderous applause, their voices blending into a deafening roar that reverberates off the walls and shakes the very foundation of the arena. Bodie, eyes sparkling with admiration, watches the scene unfold before him, a wide grin spreading across his face as he realizes he’s witnessing a moment of pure sportsmanship and triumph.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, we are back from our break for station identification, and we are just moments away from our Bantamweight Championship Main Event here at the Sphere in Sin City! Before we dive into the action one last time, we gotta shine some light on the undisputed Lightweight Champion, “The Serpent” Sadie Williams!”

BYRON McCALL: “Even Champions become fans. Inside the octagon or out, the love for MMA runs deep. I’m sure we’ll be seeing Sadie Williams back in the octagon soon enough, and could very well be against the man we just saw, former 155-pound Champ 2Face Rodríguez! What a fight that would be!”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “That’d make for an incredible clash of styles, B-Mac. I’m all here for it! So let’s not waste anymore time, I know the spectators here are ready and the viewers at home are ready, let’s toss it back to the action one final time!”

The arena darkens as the pulsating beat of “Kill V Maim” by Grimes reverberates through the PA speakers. The crowd erupts in anticipation as the lights start to flicker, synchronized with the music. A spotlight focuses on the entrance ramp, and a haze of smoke envelops the stage. Suddenly, the silhouette of Dallas Meechan emerges from the mist, his presence commanding attention. Clad in his BST Fightwear gray and blue trimmed warm ups, Meechan struts confidently towards the cage, exuding an aura of defiance and determination. His trademark smirk stretches across his lips as he acknowledges the roaring crowd with an appreciative wave. Accompanying Meechan are his ScrapYard cornermen, all sporting matching attire, their faces hidden behind sleek shades, emanating an air of mystery and intimidation. As they flank him, Meechan’s confidence seems to swell, feeding off the energy of the audience. As Grimes’s electrifying vocals fill the arena, Meechan begins to bob his head to the beat, his movements fluid and effortless, showcasing his swagger reaching its peak.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Alright, fight fans, buckle up because we’re diving headfirst into the Main Event! Making the walk first, we have none other than the former Bantamweight King himself, the one and only “Playboy” Dallas Meechan! Now, this guy burst onto the scene like the hounds of hell during the inaugural Bantamweight Championship Grand Prix, tearing through opponents left and right until he reached the finals, only to meet the legendary Hall of Famer Lauren Moore and come up short. But let me tell you, that was just the beginning of the Meechan saga. Despite the setback, he clawed his way back up the ranks, eventually snatching the gold and holding onto it for an incredible 574 days! And let’s not forget those epic battles he had with the likes of Lauren Moore and Lena Lyons; they were the stuff of legends, folks! With four title defenses under his belt, Meechan’s legacy in the Bantamweight Division is etched in stone, even if he’s hit a rough patch lately. But mark my words, ol’ Dally is back with a vengeance, and he’s ready to reclaim that throne for another historic reign!”

BYRON McCALL: ”Folks, if there’s one thing we know about this guy, it’s that he doesn’t know the meaning of a dull fight! Meechan’s like a force of nature in that cage, always bringing that ‘kill or be killed’ mindset. Sure, he’s hit a rough patch lately, going 3-3-1 since dropping the title and that immediate rematch with Gianna Howard, but don’t you dare count him out just yet! This guy’s still as dangerous as they come. You can bet your bottom dollar that when you’re staring across from Meechan, there’s no time for a breather. Tonight, he’s like a cornered beast, folks. This could be his last shot at the title for a long while if he comes up short, and you better believe he’s going to give it everything he’s got. Meechan knows what’s at stake, and he’s going to leave it all in that octagon. Don’t be fooled by the oddsmakers in Vegas; Meechan’s got the skills to take down the reigning champ. It’s going to be one helluva fight, folks!”

As he approaches the inspection station, Dally’s demeanor turns stoic. After he disrobes his BST Fightwear warm ups and dabs up his cornermen, the officials begin the customary checks. Dally’s face is greased, body patted down, nails checked, and equipment is examined and deemed fit for combat. With a final nod to the officials, Meechan ascends the steps, the metal grating echoing beneath his bare feet. As he enters the cage, he casts one last glance towards the red corner of his opponent, his eyes ablaze with fierce determination. Meechan’s focus intensifies, his mind locked on one thing: reclaiming his status as the Bantamweight Champion.

As the beat of “I’m Supposed to Die Tonight” by 50 Cent electrifies the Sphere, a hush falls over the crowd. The arena erupts in a cosmic storm of neon lights, swirling in rhythm with the music, casting a mesmerizing glow across the octagon. Draped in a Dior fashioned warm up suit donned in blue and white – obviously having the Scottish flag design in mind – CC Flynn flaunts her audacity, a deliberate dig at her opponent. With each step, she exudes an air of invincibility, her swagger an embodiment of her Harlem roots, a magnet for both adoration and disdain. Her entourage, clad in matching attire, follows behind her like Secret Service agents. On one side, a cornerman holds the Union GP Bantamweight Championship high above his head. On the other side of her, another cornerman holds her custom SupaFight Championship belt, one with a diamond-encrusted dollar sign on the center plate and white leather strap. CC’s gaze pierces through the veil of lights, fixating on her adversary with a calculated blend of contempt and confidence.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “The Champ is here! The final walkout of the night belongs to none other than the reigning and defending Bantamweight Champion, the one and only “Supastar” CC Flynn! This fighter’s got a trophy case that rivals anyone, and tonight, she’s looking to add another notch to her belt with her third title defense. Let’s take a moment to appreciate her journey. It all started back in the trenches of Everest MMA, where she rose to the top, claiming the SZN 1 Featherweight Championship before a messy split rocked the promotion. But that was just the beginning, my friends. Flynn took her talents across the globe to Japan, where she conquered the competition in Ryūjin FC, defeating beasts like Donnie Calabrese and Roscoe Robinson to claim the Ryūjin FC Championship. Then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, she descended upon Union GP’s Bantamweight Division, instantly capturing the spotlight. Her Union GP debut at UGP 50 saw her snatch the 135-pound title from Redd Lennox in a Main Event bout that shook the foundation. And from that moment on, she’s been a blazing star in the combat world, illuminating the cage with her unparalleled skill and determination everytime she steps between those doors.”

BYRON McCALL: “Folks, let me break it down for you. This Prodigy 206 product, she’s been on a tear. In her last ten bouts, she’s racked up an impressive 8-2 record. Now, let’s not forget, those two losses? They came at the hands of none other than Zion Momo’a over at Ryūjin FC. She’s not just sticking to one weight class either, folks. Bantamweight, Featherweight, Openweight – you name it, she’s conquered it. And let me tell you, that’s no small feat. This woman is sitting pretty at the top, not just as the Bantamweight Champion, but as the undisputed pound-for-pound number one in the world. But what really sets her apart? She doesn’t slack off, not one bit. Sure, she’s requested some downtime recently, and rightfully so. We’ve moved this whole event up a day just so she can observe Ramadan properly. Now, that’s some dedication right there. It might’ve cost a few fighters their purse as they missed weight with the rescheduling, but that just shows you the kind of pull CC Flynn has. Now, tonight? Tonight she’s got her eyes set on adding another notch to her already illustrious career. She might talk a big game, but she never underestimates her opponent. And let me tell you, she’s about to go toe-to-toe with a straight-up Scottish savage! Flynn’s in for a fight tonight, folks. We’re in for a Bantamweight Championship Main Event BANGER!”

As she approaches the inspection point, Flynn’s demeanor remains unflinching. After she disrobes and dabs up her cornermen, the officials begin the customary checks. Her face is meticulously greased. Equipment is examined and deemed fit. With a final nod to the officials, CC Flynn steps through the doors of the octagon. Her eyes lock onto her opponent, a calculated smirk playing on her lips. The music fades, the lights dim, and the moment hangs suspended in time, a collision of wills awaiting its cue.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Main Event of the evening! Sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, our three judges scoring this contest at cageside are Finn Morgan, Tommy Willis, and Jackie Graham, and when the action begins, our referee in charge in the octagon is Archie Driscoll. AND NOW, this is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Live from the sold out Sphere in SIN CITY — Las Vegas, Nevada, streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network…”

IT’S TIME!

MIKE DEMPSEY: “The following contest is scheduled for five rounds and it is for the Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Championship! Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Muay Thai Kickboxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of twelve wins, six losses, one draw. He stands 5’10” tall, and weighing in at 135 pounds. He is from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, fighting out of The ScrapYard MMA — presenting the former Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Champion and the number two ranked Bantamweight Contender in the World, “Playboy” Dallas Meechan!”

The arena comes alive with energy once again, the atmosphere electric as Dallas Meechan, exuding confidence and bravado, strides purposefully in his corner. The intensity in his gaze grows, a silent declaration of his unwavering focus. In this moment, the world fades away, leaving only Meechan and his quest to reclaim his status as the Bantamweight Champion.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Boxer holding a professional mixed martial arts record of fourteen wins, seven losses. She stands 5’8” tall, and weighing in at 135 pounds. She is from Harlem, New York, fighting out of Prodigy 206 — presenting the former Everest MMA SZN 1 Featherweight Champion, the former Ryūjin FC Champion, AND THE REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Champion of the World, “Supastar” CC Flynn!”

CC Flynn is in the zone, driven by the moment. The rowdy crowd is bellowing her name, and she’s feeling the energy piercing her soul. As she strides towards the center of the octagon and plants herself firmly on the signature Union GP star logo in the center of the octagon. With her eyes locked onto the heavens, Supa takes a deep breath, filling her lungs to capacity. And then, in a sudden burst of raw emotion, she unleashes a deafening war cry that reverberates throughout the entire arena. The fans go berserk, their voices reaching a fever pitch as they feed off the primal energy emanating from the champion.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Here… We… Go! History is up for grabs!”

The referee steps to the center of the cage and motions for both fighters to meet. With Mike Dempsey standing behind holding the microphone, referee Archie Driscoll gives one final pep talk.

ARCHIE DRISCOLL: “Alright fighters, we’ve gone through the rules in the back. Protect yourself at all times, follow my instructions, touch gloves and let’s have a good, clean fight.”

Both fighters seem ready to burst with adrenaline. Without much hesitation, they touch gloves and quickly backpedal to their respective corners. As they settle into their stances, Archie Driscoll checks off with each fighter one last time, ensuring they are both ready for the challenge that lies ahead.

ROUND ONE: The arena crackled with electricity as the reigning Champion, CC Flynn, stepped into the cage to defend her Bantamweight Title against the former Champ, Dallas Meechan, in the highly touted Main Event. Both fighters exuded confidence as they touched gloves at the center of the Octagon. As the bell rang, they wasted no time, meeting in the middle with an explosive exchange of strikes. Flynn showcased her superior boxing skills, peppering Meechan with lightning-fast jabs and crisp combinations. Meechan, known for his elusive footwork, attempted to evade Flynn’s onslaught, but she cornered him against the cage with relentless pressure. Just as it seemed Meechan would weather the storm, Flynn unleashed a thunderous right hand that sent shockwaves through the arena, staggering Meechan as the round came to a close.

ROUND TWO: Flynn continued her relentless assault in the second round, stalking Meechan with calculated aggression. Her punches landed with surgical precision, snapping Meechan’s head back with each strike. Yet, Meechan refused to wilt under the pressure, showcasing his iron chin and determination as he fired back with sharp counters. The crowd erupted as Meechan landed a crisp combination of his own, momentarily halting Flynn’s advance. However, Flynn quickly regained control, unleashing a barrage of strikes that left Meechan reeling. Despite his valiant efforts, Meechan found himself overwhelmed by Flynn’s sheer volume and accuracy, struggling to find an answer to her relentless onslaught.

ROUND THREE: As the third round commenced, Flynn showed no signs of slowing down, pressing forward with her signature stamina. She seamlessly transitioned between punches and leg kicks, battering Meechan from all angles. Yet, Meechan, fueled by sheer determination, continued to march forward, absorbing punishment in exchange for the opportunity to land his own strikes. The crowd watched in awe as Meechan showcased his resilience, refusing to give an inch of ground to the Champion. However, Flynn’s relentless assault began to take its toll, with each strike visibly wearing down Meechan as the round reached an end.

ROUND FOUR: With the Championship rounds now underway, Flynn dialed up the intensity, unleashing a relentless barrage of strikes that had Meechan backpedaling from the opening. Her punches landed with bone-crushing force, eliciting gasps from the crowd with each thunderous impact. Yet, despite being battered and bruised, Meechan refused to go down without a fight, summoning every ounce of his willpower to weather the storm. The round descended into a frenzied exchange of blows, with both fighters leaving everything they had inside the cage. However, it was Flynn who came out with the upper hand in the striking exchanges, showcasing her Championship pedigree with a masterful display of technique and aggression.

ROUND FIVE: With one round left to go, Flynn unleashed a final onslaught of strikes, determined to put an exclamation point on her title defense. Her punches found their mark with laser-like precision, staggering Meechan with each thunderous blow. Yet, to the astonishment of the crowd, Meechan refused to crumble, digging deep to fire back with desperation shots of his own. However, it was clear that Meechan was fighting a losing battle, his movements growing sluggish as fatigue set in. Sensing an opportunity to end the fight, Flynn poured on the pressure, overwhelming Meechan with a relentless barrage of strikes. With Meechan teetering on the brink of collapse, the referee had finally seen enough and stepped in to end the fight, awarding Flynn the victory by TKO and allowing her to retain her Union GP Bantamweight Championship in a thrilling display of skill and heart.

As Flynn’s triumphant roar fills the arena, the crowd explodes into a thunderous wave of cheers and applause. While adrenaline courses through their veins in her celebration, the medical team rushes into the octagon, their urgency evident as they converge on Meechan. A swift examination ensues, tension thick in the air, but Meechan rises to his feet, defiant against defeat. As the physicians exit the cage, clearing the stage, both fights meet at the center of the octagon. The tension reaches a fever pitch as the announcer’s voice booms over the roaring crowd to make his declaration.

MIKE DEMPSEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, referee Archie Driscoll has called for a stop in this fight at three minutes thirty-nine seconds in the fifth round, declaring the winner by technical knockout, AAAAAND STIIIIILL the undisputed Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Champion of the World, “Supastar” CC Flynn!”

A deafening roar erupts from the audience, echoing off the walls as Flynn is crowned victorious, her triumphant defense etched in the history books. Union GP Founder Dante Reed places the prestigious title around her waist amidst a shower of confetti and flashing lights. The exchange of a respectful handshake between the fierce competitors marks the end of an epic battle and for a brief moment, guards are let down and a glint of respect shines through. The Sphere buzzed with the electric energy that only a Championship bout could summon. As the crowd slowly simmered down from the adrenaline-fueled frenzy of the just-concluded fight, the seasoned interviewer Bodie Sullivan stood ready at the center of the octagon, microphone in hand. Across from him, bathed in the soft glow of the arena lights, stood CC Flynn, the reigning Bantamweight Champion, her demeanor a stark contrast to the ferocity she had displayed moments ago in the cage. Her calm and humble aura radiated an air of tranquility that seemed to fill the entire arena.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with the winner AND STILL Bantamweight Champion, CC Flynn! Supa, what an incredible performance to earn your third successful title defense! You showcased absolute dominance in there tonight. How are you feeling after such a decisive win?”

CC FLYNN: “Alhamdulillah. Bodie, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this opportunity to defend my title. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the UGP for accommodating my religious observances. And of course, all praise belongs to the Almighty.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “It seems that every time you step into the octagon, you keep getting better. You delivered a one-sided beatdown and secured the TKO victory in the fifth round. What was going through your mind as you dominated each round?”

CC FLYNN: “I knew I had to stay focused and stick to my game plan. Dallas is a former champion for a reason, so I couldn’t afford to underestimate him. My coaches and I had prepared meticulously for this fight, and I trusted in our strategy. I wanted to show the world what I’m capable of, and I’m glad I was able to do that tonight.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “And what’s next for CC Flynn? You’ve mentioned taking some time off for Ramadan, we moved the date for this event in order for you to compete, but fans are already eager to see you back in action. Any hints on who might be next in line to challenge you for the title?”

CC FLYNN: “Well, Bodie, right now, my focus is on observing Ramadan and reconnecting with my faith. My faith is the cornerstone of everything I do. It gives me purpose, discipline, and resilience. It’s a time for spiritual renewal and self-improvement. But rest assured, when I return, I’ll be stronger, faster, and more determined than ever before. To whoever steps into the octagon with me next, I have one message: better start preparing now, because you ain’t stopping Supa!”

Bodie’s gaze shifts momentarily as he notices Dallas Meechan, the former champion, quietly removing his gloves in the corner of the octagon. Sensing the significance of the moment, CC Flynn steps aside, allowing Dallas his moment in the spotlight. Turning his attention to Dallas, Bodie’s voice carries a tone of respect.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with former Champion Dallas Meechan. Dally, you showed a lot of heart and moxie out here, but in the end it wasn’t your night. Can you share with us what’s going through your mind right now?”

Dallas Meechan, his features etched with a mix of exhaustion and acceptance, meets Bodie’s gaze with a steady resolve. Despite the disappointment of defeat, there’s a sense of closure in his demeanor, as if a weight has been lifted from his shoulders. Taking a deep breath, Dallas speaks with a hint of nostalgia in his voice.

DALLAS MEECHAN:  “First and foremost, I want to thank Supa for giving me the opportunity to step into the cage with her tonight. She’s a phenomenal fighter, and she deserved every bit of that win and all the praise. As for me, well, I gave it everything I had out there, but sometimes, you come up short. And that’s okay. At this stage of my career, I was chasing one thing — that title. And tonight, it’s become clear to me that my time has come.”

The arena falls silent as Meechan’s words sink in, a poignant reminder of the fleeting nature of athletic prowess and the bittersweet beauty of retirement. Bodie nods solemnly, his respect for Dallas evident in every gesture.

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Dallas, your contribution to the sport of mixed martial arts has been nothing short of legendary. It’s been an absolute honor and privilege to be able to call your fights.”

DALLAS MEECHAN:  “One last thing. I want to thank my team at ScrapYard, my coaches, my training partners — without their unwavering support, none of this would have been possible. And to every fighter I’ve ever had the privilege of stepping into the cage with, thank you for pushing me to be better, for teaching me the true meaning of resilience and determination. This may be the end of one chapter, but I look forward to the new adventures that lie ahead.”

BODIE SULLIVAN: “Thank you Dallas for all of the historic memories. Ladies and gentlemen, for the final time, give it up for the former champion, Dallas Meechan!”

With those final words, Dallas Meechan takes one last lingering look at the octagon before making his exit, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered long after the cheers of the crowd have faded into the night. As the camera feed begins to zoom out, a wave of camera flashes illuminate the scene as the feed gradually fades away. The Battleground Network emblem blazed across the screen as the final graphic, bringing the night’s live stream to an end.
