UGP 67 WEIGH-IN RESULTS
All 28 fighters successfully made weight Saturday morning in Mexico City, making Sunday’s event official with a full slate of 14 bouts.
In the Main Event, Bantamweight Champion Victoria Marshall (134.5 pounds) and #2-ranked Syn Saetang (134.5) both hit the mark ahead of their highly anticipated rematch. Marshall looks to notch the fourth defense of her title and close the chapter on her budding rivalry with Saetang, who aims to even the score and spoil the Champ’s fifteen-fight unbeaten streak.
Featherweight Champion Isabel Azevedo (144.5) and #3-ranked Verona Jimenez (144) were also on point for the Co-Main Event. Azevedo makes her second title defense against Jimenez, who enters her first Championship opportunity on the strength of a four-fight winning streak and the support of a home crowd.
Also on the Main Card, Lightweights Benji Meyers (155.5) and Dillon Mills (156) made weight for a key Featured Undercard bout with potential title implications. Marcela Vargas (155) and Trevor Martin (156) hit their marks as well, setting the stage for a rematch of their previous meeting, which ended in a controversial no contest. Welterweights Robin Kelson and Mateo de Leon both came in at 171, while lightweights Eden Reid (154.5) and Johnny Laws (156) round out the main card lineup.
On the Prelims, unbeaten Bantamweight Morgan LeChance (135.5) and Mexican prospect Natalia Gutierrez (135) were on target for their Featured Prelim Bout. Featherweights Mida Marray (145.5) and Monika Barabas (146) also successfully made weight for the Featured Early Prelim Bout.
UGP 67: MARSHALL vs SAETANG II takes place Sunday, June 15 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico and will be streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network. The Early Prelims will kick off at 6:00 PM ET, the Prelims will kick off at 8:00 pm ET, and the Main Card will kick off at 10:00 pm ET.
The Main Event and Co-Main Event bouts are scheduled for five rounds. All other bouts are scheduled for three rounds.
