THE NEWEST CLASS OF EVEREST GRADUATES
CHICAGO — Everest MMA’s Season 2 was filled with dominance and yet at the same time, a lot of surprises. With the conclusion of the playoffs, there were a handful of contracts offered to certain fighters to continue to compete under the Union GP umbrella in some fashion, along with a million dollar purse to the season’s champions.
Season 1 Heavyweight Champion Dax Levadrier had a six fight winning streak snapped against Dominic Donaldson, but immediately got his win back in the finals to become Season 2 Champ; Derrius Webb ran the table en route to becoming the Season 2 Welterweight Champ and a 3-time Everest Champion; Catherine Harris showed major improvements from Season 1 as she gutted out four consecutive decision victories to become the Season 2 Featherweight Champion; and Eugenie Bombelles destroyed her competition to become the Season 2 Strawweight Champion.
