ONE ON ONE FT. CHANSON WEBSTER
The Lava City Gym located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is filled with fighters training in certain disciplines, while others spar and do normal workouts. Chsnson Webster can be seen getting pummeled on the ground by some ground and pound punches. As a left elbow to the face turns his head another direction he sees that the Union Grand Prix crew has arrived along with Isaac Cohen.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Isaac? Wasn’t expecting you this early.”
The sweaty Chanson Webster is helped to his feet by his partner in training. He grabs a towel from a rack of towelS nearby and wipes his face off. Placing his glasses back on he notices some shoes by one of the crew members and immediately shows his disapproval.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Just why? Why would you wear those in here? I hate those with a passion love.”
The shoes, a pair of blue crocs. Thee Last Thrilla has always hated these shoes. He looks at the crew member disgusted before rolling his eyes.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Anywhooo’s….over here guys.”
In a section further from the training area Chanson had already set up an area for them to hold this interview. He had set up a back drop poster of UGP Sixty Five with the heads of Victoria Marshall and Serenity Holmes replaced by his and Ashton Page.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Sit”
He looks back at the poster turning around smiling pleased with what has been done with the poster.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “What you think? Doesn’t that seem more fitting? I mean I am thee last living trender alive. Why shouldn’t my face be on everything? That would make things better for me, Dante and even you Isaac because everything I do is beneficial hon. It’s why I asked that you come out here. I feel like an interview with you would be beneficial for my career.”
He points at Isaac giving him the most sincere look he could muster.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Because you Isaac are a legend in your own right. You’ve probably interviewed every UGP hall of famer. Every UGP mediocre talent and every UGP dwerb. Just fudging amazing man. You should be in the hall of fame. I’m serious too. Don’t think I’m just trolling ya. You and Sarah are the epitome of what every interviewer should strive to be…but Isaac…”
That persnickety grin of his dawns his face.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “You’ve never had the pleasure of interviewing me.”
He points to himself finger to chest.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “And today was supposed to be your lucky day, but I decided when you came here unannounced recording me getting this glorious face pummeled… like every glorified twitter or X slut I see on twitter or X I told myself your luck had ran out. So now instead of you actually being blessed with the interview of your stupid life, you can just sit there and look like the virgin you are dwerb.”
He rolls his eyes at Isaac giving him one more stink face. He clears his throats and smiles and looks at the camera directly in front of him.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Sorry for the inconvenience but we are here to talk about one thing and one thing only. That’s Ashton Page, but I wanna tell you all about myself a little before we get into all that jazz loves. As you know I’m Chanson Webster and I use to wrestle back then. Like almost ten years ago. I was pretty gosh darnit good at it, Imagine being nineteen years of age on top of one of the most viewed wrestling shows. A place you help build from the ground up and left a blueprint that became thee standard. Imagine taking that momentum into an even bigger company and finding your way instantly. I’m literally the youngest GM in Naba History. Yes, Naba Basketball…twenty years old. A champion. GM, Trender and the most sought out man in wrestling.“
Going down memory lane Chanson takes the time to collect his thoughts.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “I gave all that up though. I wasn’t tired of it. I felt I needed another purpose early in life or I would be stuck in this ever ending cycle of trying to prove myself to people that I didn’t need to. Especially when I had already proven that I can be the whole show. A top talent, and someone who was gonna be here to stay. I disappeared though. I could’ve been one of the greatest wrestlers known today. Like your Anastasia Hayden’s, Tapp Adam’s, Brennan Delvin’s, Elijah Carlson’s but I decided there was something more in me beloved’s. I went out and I wanted to learn all the knowledge I could and by doing that I discovered that there will be a last thrill for me. There is always a plan for a god, thee god and that leads us to here…UGP Sixty Five.”
He turns around and looks at the poster of him and Ashton Page as Victoria Marshall and Serenity Holmes.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “They should’ve put my face on Serenity so my boobs would’ve been bigger than Ashton’s, because he could say his nuts are bigger than mines in correlation and they probably are but I know what I have bigger than him and that’s confidence. “
Wally assuringly nods his head.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “Becaue In his last two fights he hasn’t shown anything that makes him still garner a UGP contract, and as a man who fights for a living I know this has him shooked, and with two fights left on his contract one of those isn’t about to get any easier…some people would say that this is a throw away fight for Ashton to possibly save his career. After all I’ve only fought in the amateurs two three times and here I am, but I’m not feeling any pressure loves. Nah none at all. If anything the pressure is on The Diamond who hasn’t shined at all in Union.”
Chanson motions for his can of Mela watermelon water. A sponsor that is sponsoring every Lava City UGP fighter. He takes a sip from the can, but doesn’t places it down. He makes sure the can is getting just as much camera time as him.
CHANSON WEBSTER: “That isn’t his fault though. This is a tough sport and he’s been in some tough battles, and has remained strong and looking for a fight. It just so happens his next one is against me, and I’ve been watching. I feel like I have a chance to make a quick name for myself in the division if I do the necessary things. That starts with taking care of Ashton Page but doing it impressively lovebugs. I have to make a statement out there. The division has guys climbing and making room for themselves. My goal is to make sure my name is the biggest. We just had a Welterweight Main Event on a Boss Fight Card. I’m going to get it where that belt is only defended on UGP cards. Nothing wrong with Boss Fight, but it’s just the prequel to the bigger bang in UGP ppv cards to me.
Chanson shrugs his shoulders while taking another drink from the Mela can.
CHANSON WEBSTER: And I don’t think a belt should be defended on it, but when you have Geen and Donovan as the Main Event I can see why. If I wasn’t into what’s going on I’d probably wouldn’t even know they had a fight. That’s how boring they are. Luckily I’ve entered and can bring more motion to the division because it needs it. Byron McCall can’t be the most interesting man in the division. He’s almost hitting fossil age. Guys Like Ashton had a chance to rule this division, but it’s just not in him, and if you think someone like Robin Kelson can take over this division you are stupid. He doesn’t even have the wits to create his own twitter profile, and Mustafa Ali, forget it about it. Chanson Webster is really here now.”
He gets up from his seated position.
CHANSON WEBSTER: Miami, get ready to kick things off with me at UGP Sixty Five. I’m coming for the division boys. Pay close attention. See ya sweeties.”
He smiles, but not for long as he looks at Isaac in disgust again. He kicks the chair and walks off while mouthing at Isaac asking him to delete the footage of him getting handled on the mat because it’s bad footage for his career.
