UGP 68 WEIGH-IN RESULTS
All 14 bouts on the UGP 68: KANE vs WEBB card are now official following Saturday’s weigh-ins at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Undefeated Welterweight Champion Hendrik Geen provided a brief scare after tipping the scales at 171 pounds on his first attempt, one pound over the title limit. The Dutch Champion was granted an additional hour to make weight and returned to the scale successfully at 170, preserving his Championship bout against Canadian contender Connor Bouchard.
Headlining the event, reigning Bantamweight Champion Marissa Kane hit Championship weight at 135 pounds, while challenger Taylor Webb came in a half pound under. In the Co-Main attraction, Lightweight titleholder Jordan Parker and former Champion Sadie Williams both clocked in at 155 even, setting the stage for a high stakes clash between two of the division’s most dynamic submission savants.
UGP 68: KANE vs WEBB takes place Sunday, July 13 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and will be streaming exclusively on the Battleground Network. The Early Prelims will kick off at 6:00 PM ET, the Prelims will kick off at 8:00 pm ET, and the Main Card will kick off at 10:00 pm ET.
The Main Event and two Co-Main Event bouts are scheduled for five rounds. All other bouts are scheduled for three rounds.
