BACKSTORY
Petrovic is quiet, serious, and extremely disciplined. He’s the type of fighter who prefers to let his performances speak for themselves rather than engaging in trash talk. Inside the gym he’s known for being one of the hardest workers, often arriving before everyone else and leaving last.

Victor Kane has taken him under his wing, helping him develop a more dangerous ground-and-pound game to complement his relentless wrestling.

Aleksandar Petrovic began wrestling at a young age and quickly became one of the top competitors in regional grappling tournaments throughout Eastern Europe. His relentless style and physical strength made him a nightmare for opponents on the mat.

After transitioning to MMA, Petrovic quickly built a reputation as a suffocating grappler who could dominate opponents for entire fights. Recognizing his potential, NextGen Combat recruited him as one of the gym’s cornerstone prospects.

Training alongside veterans like Victor Kane and Ryan Calder has helped Petrovic develop the striking and overall fight IQ needed to compete at higher levels. Many believe he could become one of the most dangerous wrestlers in his division as his career continues to develop.
