BACKSTORY
Brand new to the fight game, Alekzander “The Nordic Nightmare” Kristiansen only has two fights on his resume.
As a small-child Alekzander in Norway hetrained in Glima – a traditional Scandinavian martial art that was used by the vikings.
At the age of 12, Kristiansen’s family moved to the United States where he began to develop a love for mixed martial arts and as he grew older, so did his interest for the combat sport. As a teenager in Pierre, South Dakota, Alekzander began to train in kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Alekzander has competed in multiple amateur kickboxing competitions and is currently ranked as a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. But Glima – though, not common in the United States – is still his first love.
He’s newly married with year and a half old daughter.
