BACKSTORY
Chanson is the oldest of four siblings born to parents Louis and Jeff Webster. In the early years of his life Chanson and his family had a pretty good life with his father and mother owning one of the hottest clubs in Long Beach, California at the time, but things began to fall off with his father’s drug and gambling abuse. At the age of seven the family moved from Long Beach to Myrtle Beach where things didn’t change. If anything got worse as his father’s habits continued. Now even abusing his mother and sometimes Chanson. Even with his life far from normal Chanson maintained good grades in school. When he got to high school he worked himself up through Junior Varsity to become a starting receiver for his school and also captain of the wrestling team, but back to back years he blew his ACL in his left leg. Finishing high school with no scholarship was a major letdown for him. He thought it was he and his family’s way out until he started training a little mma here and there. He met Lester Debauge who trained at the gym he did who told Chanson to give wrestling a try. Beginning his training for wrestling Chanson got the news that his mother had died from a heart attack. He stopped training and just worked his ass off at the plant he was working at. Even that wasn’t enough to hold down him and his younger siblings so he sent them off to live with his lawyer uncle and pediatrician wife. At 19 going on 20 he began his wrestling career in 2016 in RISE where he went on to become the Evolution Champion and RISE champion becoming the first person in RISE to win two different singles championship belts. Wally also competed in 4CW for a short stint. After suffering defeat in his third title bout for the RISE championship Chanson got the call up and is now on Subversion where he’s a former ITV champion and the sixth pick in HKW’s draft. When HKW closed its doors Chanson vanished from wrestling as well. He began training in MMA again, and had his first child naming his son Walmijo, a mix of his and his former Rise coach Kamijo. After almost ten years away from the ring Wally made a surprise return to the ring managing PK Katana. Things didn’t work out . Chanson then just hopped into the amateurs of MMA where he met his current girlfriend Mida Marray who just started her pro career.
