BACKSTORY
Liam Baxter was born and raised in Manchester, England. Growing up, Liam was a wild child with a lot of energy. His parents enrolled him in football at the age of six, hoping to channel his energy into a sport. However, Liam quickly grew bored with football and started experimenting with different sports. At the age of twelve, Liam discovered martial arts and was immediately hooked. He started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and quickly progressed, winning local competitions and earning a black belt along the way. However, Liam was hungry for more, and after watching a few amateur fights, he knew he wanted to compete in the sport.

Liam started training in MMA and quickly made a name for himself on the local scene. He was a fierce competitor with a relentless fighting style and an iron will to win. After a few years of local success, Liam decided to turn pro and take his career to the next level. In his first professional fight, Liam was matched up against a tough opponent, but he managed to secure a victory with a rear-naked choke in the third round. From that point on, Liam’s career skyrocketed, as he won his next nine fights in a row, all by stoppage. His only loss came in his tenth fight, against a more experienced grappler who managed to catch him with a submission in the second round.

Despite the setback, Liam refused to let the loss define him, and he continued to train harder than ever. He was determined to make it to the top of the MMA world and finally got the invitation to compete on DRIP. After a long road in the UK scene, Liam was scouted by Union Grand Prix.

Liam was thrilled to sign with Union Grand Prix, but he knew he had a long way to go before he could make it to the main roster. He was assigned to their developmental promotion, Everest MMA, and set his sights on becoming the Season 4 Cruiserweight Champion. Liam knows that winning the title would earn him a contract with Union GP and give him the chance to compete against the best fighters in the world. Liam has trained tirelessly for his Everest MMA debut, knowing that his opponents would be no pushovers. However, Liam is confident in his abilities and will step into the cage with fierce determination in every second he’s afforded.
