BACKSTORY
Lovelie is a focused fighter, he knows what the opportunity is and he is going to give his everything into it. He’ll work hard until he don’t have to work hard anymore, and with his goals? That day may never come. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti moving to Flint, Michigan at the age of eight years old. Lovelie has known poverty, the youngest of 8 boys he’s had to grow up fast – but with that same poverty comes opportunity. Lovelie being the youngest, he didn’t have the same hardships that others in his family had, he’s witnessed their mistakes and learned their lessons along side them. After graduating high school, he turned down several scholarships to pursue his dream of becoming a professional MMA fighter, spending two years in Japan after graduation to further his skill set. Returning stateside, he was offered an opportunity to train at Red Rock Fighting, with the promise of making it to the Union GP cage, with hard-work of course. Something Lovelie was all too familiar with.
