BACKSTORY
Mei’s never had the chance to fight professionally but she’s spent a few years on the underground scene, mostly in New Orleans.
She took up MMA with her sister, former Bounty Hunter turned professional wrestler Mai Blackman. Together, the sisters studied Muay Thai throughout their childhood before temporarily going their separate ways while Mai pursued wrestling and Mei took to fighting on the underground scene in New Orleans after meeting her girlfriend, Riki.
Honing her discipline through training and fights in The Barn, Mei earned a reputation in New Orleans’ underground scene but it has always been her desire to fight professionally on a bigger stage.
