BACKSTORY
Born in a run of the mill working class family in Adelaide, South Australia, Eden Reid grew up playing a slew of different sports. Bigger and taller than most, she excelled at basketball and netball, but for all her successes in the sports, it didn’t quite scratch the itch.
That all changed when Reid took her first muay thai class. Everything seemed to click, and Eden quickly transformed from a gangly teen to a six foot deadly weapon.
Eden began competing in muay thai tournaments, and moved to Melbourne to train at Throne MMA, seeking to transition into MMA. After amassing a 4-1 professional record, Eden “The Reaper” Reid has signed on the dotted line with Union GP.
